Arsenal ended their undefeated run in the league last weekend in their 3-1 defeat to defending champions Liverpool at Anfield.The Gunners won their first two games of the campaign against Fulham away (0-3) and West Ham at home (2-1). Those were not the most problematic fixtures in all fairness, but you can only beat what's in front of you, and in two London teams they had difficult enough rivals. MATCH ANALYSIS
After rotating heavily in Carabao Cup against Leicester, Arsenal's boss Mikel Arteta fielded the strongest possible eleven at Anfield, having in mind that at least four first-teamers were unavailable for the game with injuries. They set up to attack on the counter, with Aubameyang being the main threat, as was the case in their last three match-ups, but Klopp's men proved too strong to make the treble against the champions. However, it will be awfully hard to repeat the last year's campaign and more realistically, the number one goal for 20/21 will be to ensure they stay up comfortably. Sheffield United, who have never previously failed to score in their opening three league fixtures, are absolute underdogs against highly ambitious Arsenal, but a good performance at the Emirates can get them back on the right track.
