The game kicks off at 4pm (UK) when Crystal Palace host Tottenham on Sunday 26 July at the Selhurst Park in London.
Crystal Palace lost against Wolves (2:0) on Monday, and it's their seventh consecutive defeat in the Premier League, where they scored only twice (against Chelsea), and conceded nineteen times. At the moment, it seems like the whole squad is on holidays, after they secured their safety and made sure that they cannot get involved in any of the European competitions. However, Roy Hodgson's men should take a look at themselves, and think of the fans, before they finish this campaign with a whimper.
The Spurs are heading into this match in much better shape, after three wins on the trot, the last being the routing of Leicester on Sunday (3:0). They are guaranteed at least the 7th place, with 58 points, just a point behind Wolves in the 6th, but need the Wolves to drop points against Chelsea on Sunday, if they don't want to sweat about who wins the cup. Tottenham will overtake Wolves and qualify for Europa League if Wolverhampton lose in London, and they get at least a point against Crystal Palace.
CRYSTAL PALACE VS TOTTENHAM MATCH ANALYSIS
Since restart, Crystal Palace have lost captain Luka Milivojevic and defenders Gary Cahill, Patrick van Aanholt and James Tomkins to injury, while Christian Benteke is suspended until the end of the season for a red card. They have scored more (30) only than Norwich (26), and cannot finish the season above the 13th place. To add to their woes, Mamadou Sakho was substituted against Wolves because of an injury and is now their seventh sidelined player.
Roy Hodgson can blame the string of bad games on injuries, but even he admits that he's pretty much clueless as to how to turn their fortunes around, and not let this terrible run affect their preparations for the next season.
Tottenham now have five wins and two draws, and only one defeat since Premier League resumed. Jose Mourinho has managed to steady the ship since he took over. They were 14th before he came in, and now they ae likely to qualify for Europa League spot. Whatever one can think of Mourinho, his vast experience and his managerial proves have turned the fortunes around for the Spurs.
Only teams to pick up more points since he was appointed in November are Liverpool (59), Manchester City (50) and Manchester United (46). It helped that Harry Kane is in such prolific form as of late.

Roy Hodgson probably cannot wait for this season to end, as this bad streak could seemingly go on forever. It is a London derby after all, and it might motivate his decimated squad a bit, although I wouldn't count on it much.
As for Tottenham, they again resemble a proper team these last few weeks. They will probably have to do some clever business in the transfer market during summer, to challenge for the silverware, but they are no longer painful to watch.
