Manchester Utd host Chelsea in the 6th round of the Premier League at Old Trafford (Manchester) on Saturday, October 24 and the match kicks off at 5.30pm (UK).

Man Utd are in the 15th place with just 6 points from their respective fixtures, albeit with a game in hand. After being thoroughly dismantled by Tottenham at home (1-6), they desperately needed those three points against the Magpies (1-4) to ease the misery inflicted by the heavy defeat against their previous boss Jose Mourinho.
As for Chelsea, after five rounds of Premier League they are 8th in the table with 8 points from a win on the opening day against Brighton (1-3), a draw from the West Brom match (3-3) and another win against Crystal Palace (4-0). In between, their only defeat of the campaign came at the hands of defending champions Liverpool at home (0-2) and most recently they were held to a draw at home against the Saints by the late equalizer (3-3).
MATCH ANALYSIS
The criticism Red Devils received after their defeat to Crystal Palace didn't subdue after their controversial win against Brighton where they left too much space, weren't aggressive enough and lost possession quite often. To make things worse, another disastrous result followed with Tottenham scoring for fun against 10-men United. It was their joint-heaviest defeat in the Premier League and truthfully, they desperately needed to pick up their game for the visit to Newcastle if they did not want to start chasing the pack already.
Meanwhile, they signed left back Alex Telles from Porto and veteran Uruguayan striker Cavani who won't be in the squad for the midweek Champions league clash against PSG, but will debut against the Blues.
