The game kicks off at 8.15pm (UK) when Wolves host Crystal Palace on Monday 20 July at the Molineux Stadium.
After an unfortunate draw against Burnley on Wednesday, when they conceded a penalty in the stoppage time (1:1), Wolves can now only book a place in Europe next season if they win their two remaining fixtures against Crystal Palace (H) and Chelsea (A). And what can be said of Crystal Palace? They lost against Manchester United (0:2) on Thursday, and it's their sixth consecutive defeat in the Premier League, where they scored only twice (against Chelsea), and conceded seventeen times. The Wanderers are still 6th, with three points behind the top four. Midweek's draw was a blow for their Champions League hopes, and another came after Manchester City's two-year European ban was liftes on Monday, which means the fifth place won't be a CL qualification spot, after all. Wolves don't have any more room left for disappointments, and shouldn't get too complacent when they welcome Crystal Palace. Nuno Santo will have his strongest eleven on Monday, and if they treat it like any other game, the win shouldn't be a problem.
Crystal Palace will be without Benteke who's suspended for the rest of the season, and Zaha is hardly firing on all cylinders all season. Seems like the end of the season couldn't come sooner for Hodgson's men.
