Daily acca bet - FAQ

A 4-fold bet relates mainly to horse racing. It sort of falls under the umbrella of the accumulator phrase, being a single bet that is made up of four different selections. Of course, if you’re making more than four selections, the phrasing would change to suit this i.e. five-fold bet, six-fold bet etc. Anything less than a 4-fold bet is considered as a single, double or treble wager instead. An acca refers to any bet that has four or more selections in it.

To place one of these bets, you simply need to decide upon which four horses you’re looking to back and include in the wager. A single wrong choice will see you lose the whole bet, so be sure you’re picking out some good ones. You then merge them together in a single wager and that’s it.

An accumulator bet, or an acca as it is often known, basically requires you to select four or more selections and then these are combined into one single wager. So, while you could bet on each different event individually as singles bets if you wished to, an accumulator will bunch them together and provide you with better odds if they all win. Naturally, this has an increased risk as well, as all of the chosen events are required to turn out in the way you wagered for it to be a winning wager.

That being said, accumulators can bring much more excitement to the sports betting scene. The potential for higher winnings is one reason for this, but the fact that you can also select different events and teams within an accumulator is another. You don’t have to stick to one football team or one horse racing event. Accas provide such enthralling options at online sports betting sites.

Because an accumulator bet bases itself on several selections within one wager, it’s necessary for all of them to be winning selections for you to obtain a pay-out. In the case that a single one of those accumulator bets loses, the entire set of them is lost and you receive zero pay-out from it.

Something of note to remember though, is that some sportsbooks provide you with acca insurance. This allows you to still receive a pay-out from your accumulator, even if a single one of your selections is a losing one. Keep your eye out for this insurance assistance, as it can be quite crucial in some circumstances.
