After spending most of the 2020/2021 season under the drop line, in the bottom tree, Barnsley succeeded to miraculously escape the relegation on the final day of the campaign. Their manager Lee Johnson has just signed a new four-year contract and it looks like the board trust him to take the club forward. Against Boro, The Robins were 2-0 up inside 22 minutes, with Andreas Weimann's placed finish and Nahki Wells' half-volley putting them on course for a fourth win from four matches. Bristol are looking to shake off that 'streaky' tag they have and an away win against disarraying Barnsley doesn't look too far-fetched.
