Belgium is set to face the Czech Republic for its fifth match in the group World Cup Qualification campaign. The clash will take place at King Baudouin Stadium (Brusel) on Sunday, September 5 at 19:45 (UK). Read our Belgium vs. Czech Republic’s reasons for the prediction and betting tip.
Belgium is in first place in Group E with 10 points, while the Czech Republic is in second place with 7 points. Wales, who is expected to be a threat, is behind with two games left to play and only has three points. It serves as a wake-up call to its opponent the Czech Republic, who may find itself in severe trouble if it loses its next match. Czech will have to play with vigour and perseverance in order to survive the scary period.
Belgium has taken a commanding lead in the past four meetings (3W, 1D). Its victory over the hosts, Estonia, on Thursday of this week, was a dramatic one, as it overturned the hosts' early advantage. Lukaku couldn't keep the ball out of the net, and the game finished in a 5-2 victory. It is expected that the excitement and energy generated by this victory would serve as a warning to the Czech Republic, who will be the team's next opponent.
The Czech Republic opened its campaign with a resounding 6-2 victory over same Estonia as the previous year. It drew 1-1 with Belgium at home in the first leg, and now it will go to Belgium for the second game. It did, however, lose 1-0 to Wales, and this week it returned to winning ways after taking an early 1-0 lead against tight Belarus. When it comes to the Czech national squad, Barak Antonin and Tomas Soucek are the guys to keep an eye on.
Since 2001, both teams have won twice and drawn once in the previous five head-to-head matches between the two clubs. In the first leg, Czech Republic was the host and had a 1-0 lead in the early second half; however, Lukaku sprinted to equalize in the 60th minute, and as Belgium's all-time leading scorer, Czech Republic should be well prepared for the second leg.
Belgium (3-4-3): Courtois, Denayer, Boyata, Alderweireld, Carrasco, Vanaken, Witsel, Saelemaekers, Hazard, Lukaku and Trossard.

Injured: None
Czech (4-2-3-1): Vaclik, Coufal, Kalas, Holes, Mateju, Kral, Soucek, Hlozek, Barak, Jankto and Dolezal.

Belgium appears to be flexing its muscles and putting all of its efforts towards winning the Fifa World Cup in 2022. When everyone's attention is focused on the big prize, there is no room for failure. When they met recently on the first leg in the Czech, Belgium blew several opportunities, and this time may be different. Lukaku is looking to take the lead in the scoring table, and after his performance against Estonia, the Czech defence will have their work cut out, to keep him and Kevin De Bruyne at bay. Bettingkick’s Belgium vs. Czech Republic prediction is Belgium to win.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
