August 28 Sunday, Real Betis is set to host the match against Real Madrid in the Matchday 3 of La Liga. The match kicks off at Estadio Benito Villamarín (Sevilla) starting at 9 pm (UK). Read our reasons for the prediction and betting tips for the match Real Betis vs. Real Madrid.
Because of their inability to compete in the first few games, Real Madrid surrendered the crown to Atletico Madrid the previous season. After tying the game against Levante, they were unable to maintain their winning streak in the following encounter. The Los Blancos will be looking to win their next encounter against Real Betis in order to avoid slipping into the same hole that they did last season. Both clubs haven't lost yet, but Betis hasn't carried the entire load yet, and it will be delighted if it can do so against Real Madrid.
Real Betis came close to losing their first game of the season against Mallorca. It was the home team that took an early lead with an Olivan goal just seconds after kickoff. That was the case until Manuel Pellegrini introduced Juanmi in the second half, who scored an equalizer to deny Mallorca a successful La Liga season. Juanmi surged forward to assist Betis win at home, but he only managed to score an equalizer, resulting in a deadlock between the two sides. Will Los Verdiblancos be fortunate enough to earn their first victory?
Vinicius Jr. is a player to keep an eye on at Real Madrid. In spite of not being named to the starting XI, the player is in first place in the scoring chart. Real Madrid took an early lead against Alaves, courtesy of a Benzema brace and a goal from Nacho, but the game ended in a draw. Vinicius scored a late goal after coming on to replace Hazard in the 67th minute of the game. In the second game, despite the fact that Bale had given Real Madrid the lead, gritty Levante equalized and went ahead in the 59th minute to take the victory. Vinicius worked and was eventually successful in stealing victory from his opponents. Real Betis should prepare for the battle against Vinicius by strengthening their defensive line.
Real Madrid has won once, drawn twice, and lost twice versus Real Betis in their previous five matches played together. Real Madrid won the first leg of the Champions League last season by a slim margin of 3-2 at Betis, with the second leg ending in a scoreless draw at home. Consequently, based on the previous match history, Betis has a history of depriving Real Madrid (a team that has won several La Liga titles) of victory, and we are looking forward to the encounter. This is a new season, and Zidane is determined to win the league title and will not allow Real Betis to defeat his team.
Real Betis (4-2-3-1): Silva, Montoya, Gonzalez, Ruiz, Miranda, Guardado, Canales. Rodri, Fekir, Juanmi and Iglesias.
Suspended: None
Injured: Sabaly, Camarasa, R. Gonzalez, Moreno, and Laines
Real Madrid (4-3-3): T. Courtois, Lucas, Nacho, Alaba, Lucas, Valverde, Casemiro, Isco, Bale, Benzema and Hazard.
Suspended: None
Injured: Ceballos, Kroos, Marcelo, Diaz, Mendy, and Modric.

After drawing with Levante the previous weekend, this weekend's encounter against Real Betis is a must-win if they are to remain in contention for the championship. But Betis has been a source of contention for them in their previous five meetings, and this may be added to the list. Bettingkick’s Real Betis vs. Real Madrid prediction is Real Madrid to win or draw.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
