Granada will host Real Betis at Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes (Granada) in Round 4 of La Liga 2021/22. The match kicks off at 9 pm (UK) on Monday, September 13, 2021. Read our reasons for Granada vs Betis prediction and betting tips.
Real Betis, despite their loss to Real Madrid, is one of the top-flight teams that has remained competitive in La Liga. While not very impressive, Granada was able to finish the previous season in ninth place with 46 points, which was a respectable achievement. Both clubs now have two points and will be seeking to improve their position with a win in the upcoming encounter.
Villarreal hosted them in the first game of the season, despite Villarreal being reduced to a 10-man team. Granada was unable to mount a credible effort, and the match finished in a goalless draw. When there was no scoring in the first half of the match at home against Valencia, the result was a 1-1 tie. It was a pleasant surprise to watch newcomers Rayo Vallecano smash Granada 4-0 in their first match. Betis will be aiming to take advantage of the same weakness.
Betis is putting in its best effort to be competitive and, at the least, earn a spot in European football. However, it has struggled to earn a victory since the league's inception and has not done so as of yet. Mallorca, a team from the lower level, was taken completely by surprise and forced to settle for a dreadful 1-1 draw. The same thing happened (1-1) when Real Madrid faced Cadiz in the second match, but Real Madrid couldn't be spared and overcame Betis 1-0 in the final.
Betis signed Bellerin from Arsenal, and we are hopeful that he will be available to play in the next encounter. In the last five head-to-head meetings, the performances of both teams appear to be equal. Real Betis has won two matches and Granada has won two matches while drawing one. However, as we will see in the forthcoming match, this new season may bring some unexpected twists and turns.
Granada (4-3-3): Escandell, Neva, Sanchez, Duarte, Diaz, Milla, Gonalons, Montoro, Bacca, Suarez and Puertas.
Suspended: None
Injured: Lozano
Betis (4-2-3-1): Silva, Montoyo, Ruiz, Pezzella, Miranda, Guardado, Rodriguez, Ruibal, Canales, Fekir and Juanmi.
Suspended: None
Injured: Lainez, Sabaly and Moreno

Betis and Granada have been big rivals for many years, and neither can claim to be the best. Last season, Granada finished the league with no wins and only one draw in their final five games. Now that it is hosting the match, it will make every effort not to embarrass its fans at home by losing. We anticipate an interesting match in which both teams will score goals. Bettingkick’s prediction for Granada vs Betis is both teams to score.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
