Levante will take on Real Madrid this Sunday in Matchday 2 of La Liga 2021/22. The clash will take place at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia at 9:00 pm (UK). Read our prediction as well as betting tips for the match Levante vs. Real Madrid.
Real Madrid will travel to Valencia to take on Levante in an attempt to extend their winning streak to four games. The Spanish giants, who have won the most titles in the country's history, will be aiming to take it away from Atletico Madrid. Zidane's men are back in form, and Benzema will be aiming to win the Golden Boot for this season now that the league's all-time greatest scorer-Lionel Messi has left the league.
So far, Real Madrid has taken the lead in the table after defeating Deportivo Alaves 4-1 at their home. Real Madrid exerted pressure on Alaves throughout the game, but it was unable to prevent goals from being scored. Karim Benzema couldn't stop scoring, netting a brace in the second half to go along with goals from Vinicious Jr. and Nacho, among others. Joselu converted a penalty kick following a foul by Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid. Real Madrid trounced Alaves in terms of match statistics, even though they were playing away from home. Levante is well aware of the monstrous opponent it will face on Sunday.
With a 1-1 draw against Cadiz, Levante started the season on the right foot. When compared against Cadiz, the match statistics show that Levante was the more dominant team, holding almost 55 percent of the ball and creating several scoring chances. Towards the end of the first half, Levante took the lead through Jose Luis Morales, and the advantage was held until almost the end of extra time when Alfonso Espino equalized for Cadiz. At home, Levante will be trying to take advantage of the situation and surprise its opponents.
Real Madrid has won five of the previous ten head-to-head meetings with Levante while drawing two and losing three times. This demonstrates that Real Madrid has a better chance of winning the next match as well. Real Madrid defeated Levante 2-0 away in the first leg of the Champions League last season before losing 2-1 at home. It is therefore possible that Levante may surprise Zidane this weekend.
Levante (4-4-2): Fernandez, Clerc, Pier, Duarte, Son, Morales, Melero, Campana, Frutos, Soldado and Marti.
Suspended: None
Injured: Dani Gomez
Real Madrid (3-5-2): Courtois, Alaba, Nacho, Militao, Vazquez, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, Vinicious Jr., Benzema and Bale.

Zidane is well-versed in exploiting Levante's weaknesses and has his sights set on the league crown. Levante will attempt to fire their bullets, but Real Madrid's system does not appear to allow for that after missing out on the title by only two points the previous season. The stakes are high for Real Madrid to defeat Levante. Bettingkick’s Levante vs. Real Madrid prediction is Real Madrid to win.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
