Arsenal host Leeds at the Emirates (London) in the 24th round of the Premier League and the match kicks off at 4.30 pm (UK) on Sunday, February 14. Read our reasons for Arsenal vs Leeds prediction and betting tips.
An in-form Leeds are hoping to pile more misery on Mikel Arteta’s inconsistent Arsenal side when they travel to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Marcelo Bielsa’s side leapfrogged the Gunners in the table with a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace at the start of the week to go 10th. Meanwhile, after a seven-match unbeaten league run (W5, D2), Arsenal have suffered defeats at the hands of Wolves (2-1) and Aston Villa (1-0) in their past two matches and will hope to get back to winning ways.
It seemed as though Mikel Arteta's side had turned a corner having gone seven games unbeaten in the league following their Boxing Day victory over Chelsea, however, having recently lost further ground on those fighting for the European spots, they will be looking to turn things around immediately. The Gunners have struggled for consistency this season and it is why they find themselves in 11th place.
It would appear that Mikel Arteta's men have produced another false dawn after the Londoners self-destructed at Wolves a fortnight ago before crashing to a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa last Saturday.Prior to that double dent Arsenal were enjoying a mini-revival, and, Arsenal, despite their unpredictability, still carry a significant attacking threat in forward areas and we suspect the hosts will have the tools to trouble Bielsa's brittle backline.
The Whites, on the other hand, have been blowing hot and cold lately, failing to score in back-to-back losses against Tottenham and Brighton, either side of an FA Cup humbling at League Two Crawley. Bielsa’s side have been made too often to pay for their expansive style, missed chances as well as defensive errors. However, of the promoted teams, Leeds have more points than West Brom and Fulham combined which is a testimony of their solidity.
Moreover, Leeds have struggled with defensive injuries all season and none of their long-term absentees are likely to return this weekend. The Whites go into this clash after chalking up three wins from their last four Premier League fixtures, the most recent of which was a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace. Marcelo Bielsa's men have shown that they can mix it with the division's heavyweights and will fancy their chances of bloodying Arsenal's nose in North London on Sunday.

Arsenal welcome Leeds to the Emirates Stadium on Valentine's Day with just a solitary point currently separating the two sides in the Premier League table. When the two sides met at Elland Road back in November, the game ended in a goalless draw, and Arsenal were reduced to ten men when Nicolas Pepe was shown his first red card of his career.
This feels as though it could end up being a highly entertaining, end-to-end encounter and the outcome will be decided by which of these two sides prove to be the more clinical on the day.
