Arsenal host Leicester at the Emirates (London) in the 6th week of the Premier League on Sunday, October 25 and the match kicks off at 7.15pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
With 3 of their 5 league matches won, Arsenal are sitting in the 5th place with 9 points, below Leicester on goal difference. The two loses came at the hands of defending champions Liverpool (3-1) and the last season’s runners-up Manchester City (1-0) in the last round of the Premier League, which is no shame at all, as Arsenal look like they are heading in the right direction under Arteta.
As for Leicester, their 100% record from their first three Premier League came abruptly to an end after suffering their first league defeat to West ham at home (0-3). Unfortunately, they followed it with another home defeat to Aston Villa (0-1) which places them right above the Gunners ahead of the weekend.
MATCH ANALYSIS
This season Arteta's Arsenal is set up to attack on the counter, with Aubameyang being the main threat, as was the case in their last five league games. The Gunners have plenty of reasons to be cheerful under Mikel Arteta, but even though they were encouraged by last season's FA Cup win against Man City, they could not produce another upset last weekend. Arteta was happy with the performance against City but, worryingly for the Gunners, they have now extended a miserable run of away results against their fellow 'top six' members in the league. They have now failed to win in their last 29 such meetings, since a win at City in 2015.This is why it is perfectly understandable why Arteta is not getting carried away, pointing out just how much rebuilding still needs to be done. If the win in Manchester was not an imperative, a win against Leicester at home would be more than welcome as they could leapfrog the Foxes in the table.
After the Foxes won their first three games, their winning run came to an end after losing comfortably to West Ham at home, which was followed by another dire home display against Villa. Without the injured Jamie Vardy to call upon up front, Leicester struggled to carve out meaningful chances and even the introduction of Algerian Islam Slimani, making his first Foxes appearance since January 2018, could not spark any attacking impetus. They have now suffered consecutive Premier League home defeats without scoring for the first time since February 2017. To make things worse, they have now lost Caglar Soyuncu for three months with an abductor injury while on international duty with Turkey. If they do not want to replicate their terrible form from the back end of the last season, they need to show some muscle against Arsenal on Sunday.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
