All eyes will be on Camp Nou when Barcelona and Sevilla face each other in La Liga derby on Sunday evening.
The Catalan giants are on a quest to regain the La Liga title, but they will have to do it without Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, and Arturo Vidal who left the club in the summer transfer window. Ronald Koeman’s troops rolled over Villarreal 4-0 in their first home game of the season, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Sevilla. Barcelona are out for blood this season. The Blaugrana are determined to dethrone Real Madrid as La Liga champions, and the early signs are certainly promising for the Catalan giants under the tutelage of Ronald Koeman. Despite going into the new La Liga campaign following a summer of controversy surrounding the future of talisman Lionel Messi, Barcelona have weathered that storm and are now simply focused on their performances on the pitch - as evidenced by two dominant wins in the opening weeks of the new season. Barca followed up their 4-0 thrashing of Villarreal with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Celta Vigo in midweek.
Los Sevillanos quickly recovered from the UEFA Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munchen, but they face an uphill task in the Camp Nou clash. Seeing that the Andalusians suffered a loss in each of their last eight meetings with the Catalan outfit in Barcelona, home win should be considered. Both managers can count on key players for Sunday’s showdown. However, Julen Lopetegui's men needed to a last-gasp winner from substitute Youssef En-Nesyri to get over the line on Wednesday night, but slender wins carry as much significance as any victory does for a side with ambitions of a top-three finish this season. Victories have been extremely hard to come by for Sevilla against Barcelona in recent times, though, as La Blaugrana have not lost a top-flight game to their opponents since the 2015-16 campaign - winning 13 of the last 16 meetings between the two La Liga giants in all competitions.

Barcelona and Sevilla will both be looking to make it three wins out of three in the 2020-21 La Liga campaign. La Blaugrana have triumphed over Villarreal and Celta Vigo so far, while Sevilla have taken maximum points from clashes with Cadiz and Levante. Match of the day and of the week for sure. More than 2.5 goals and our prediction are that the home side will take the victory. But Sevilla will give a strong fight till the end, surprises possible.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
