Arminia Bielefeld has two defeats in a row but they will try to stop Erling Haaland and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Bielefeld has its star at the start of the new season. Japanese Doan has a goal and an assist each in his five league appearances for Bielefeld since joining on loan from PSV Eindhoven. Those came in losses over the two games against Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg respectively, meaning Arminia is now on a run of three defeats. The Bundesliga 2 champions had crowned their return to the top flight after an 11-year absence with a draw (1-1 in Frankfurt) and a victory (1-0 vs. Koln) in their opening two matches. They face the tough task of hosting Dortmund, but are undefeated in their last six home games against BVB and have beaten them more than any other visiting team in the Bundesliga (10 times). Coach Uwe Neuhaus, a familiar face to Borussia fans, also has no new injury concerns to worry about, with Andreas Voglsammer the only long-term absentee. Bielefeld coach Neuhaus was at Dortmund for almost seven years, as assistant first-team coach between 1998 and 2004, and as head coach of the reserves in 2004/05.
Bielefeld: Ortega - Brunner, Pieper, Van der Hoorn, Lucoqui - Kunze, Prietl - Doan, Hartel, Cordova - Klos (c)
Out: Voglsammer (foot)
Doubtful: -
Coach: Uwe Neuhaus
Erling Haaland brought up his 18th Bundesliga goal in just his 20th appearance in last weekend’s 3-0 derby win over Schalke. It took him on to five for the campaign, all of which have come at home, and helped Dortmund to their best start under Lucien Favre after five matchdays in the Bundesliga. Centre-backs Manuel Akanji and Mats Hummels got the other goals in the derby vs Schalke, but they have also impressed in defense, where BVB has kept a league-best four clean sheets. With just two goals conceded, Dortmund statistically has the best defense in the Bundesliga at present.
Last season’s Bundesliga runners-up faced the extra task of a mid-week UEFA Champions League group game against Zenit Saint Petersburg, defeating the Russians 2-0. There were no fresh injuries after that game, and Favre could be tempted to play his full-strength side and rest players once goals are on the board with Bielefeld proving a recent bogey team for BVB.
Dortmund captain Marco Reus has scored against 17 of the 18 current Bundesliga teams – except Bielefeld. He hasn’t played against them yet, though.
Dortmund: Bürki - Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro - Bellingham, Witsel - Sancho, Reus (c), Reyna - Haaland
Out: Can (not included), Schmelzer (knee), Zagadou (knee)
Doubtful: -
Coach: Lucien Favre

Bielefeld has trouble with scoring and Dortmund is great in the defense so this game could be just a very tight affair with Haaland just effective at home. There are reasons to believe that both teams will not score so that is our preferable bet for this game.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
