Benevento is winless in five straight Serie A matches and will try to break their poor run against Bologna at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Friday.
Sinisa Mihajlovic hailed a ‘perfect performance’ after Bologna thrashed Parma 3-0 and explained how he’s working to make Musa Barrow a center-forward. Barrow bagged an early brace, while Riccardo Orsolini came off the bench to score a late third. “We scored three goals, could’ve had another two or three, and allowed practically nothing at the back,” the coach told media. “I am happy for Musa, who scored two goals, as we’re working every day in training on the movements of a center-forward and it’s paying off. He has the characteristics to be a pure striker, he just needs to get himself into the situation to score. “He still plays a bit more like a winger, but we are working every day on his movements, what he should and shouldn’t do. When he’s in front of the goal, he can get it in the net, that’s not the issue.”
Bologna broke away a little from the danger zone with this victory, which left Parma in penultimate place. “We were playing without seven or even 10 players for at least two months. Sinisa Mihajlovic will be without midfielder Mattias Svanberg through suspension, while loan signing Paolo Farago and striker Federico Santander are still absent due to injury. Veteran Gary Medel is struggling with a calf issue and is not likely to make the first XI, so Nicolas Dominguez should partner with Jerdy Schouten in midfield. Musa Barrow is expected to continue as the Rossoblu's lone striker, with Riccardo Orsolini being drafted back into the team in place of Andreas Skov Olsen.

Filippo Inzaghi is convinced Benevento is ‘on the right path’ after their 1-1 draw against Sampdoria. “I am extremely satisfied with my team, I am happy with the draw,” Inzaghi told media. “Sampdoria is a tough opponent, they had beaten Inter not long time ago, if they are happy with the result, it means we are on the right path. “We suffered, but if Samp says they escaped from danger, it means we are on the right path. Perparim Hetemaj and Nicolas Viola are tipped to cover the suspensions in midfield, with Fabio Depaoli starting in place of Letizia. New loan signing Adolfo Gaich is likely to be kept in reserve by Pippo Inzaghi, with Gianluca Lapadula, Roberto Insigne, and Gianluca Caprari remaining the attacking trident for the visitors.
