Will Bologna finally end their incredible run of 41 Serie A games without a clean sheet as they host bottom of the table Crotone at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara?
If the Bologna does concede again, it’ll match the all-time record of Europe’s top five leagues, set by Ligue 1 side Bordeaux in 1960. In theory, this is the game to end that streak, because Crotone has failed to score in their last two matches and have a total of just six goals in eight rounds.
Bologna was grateful for Sampdoria's errors that allowed them to complete the comeback for a 2-1 victory at Marassi. Morten Thorsby’s header from a corner had put the Blucerchiati in front early doors, confirming Bologna's inability to keep a clean sheet. However, Vasco Regini had a bit of a nightmare, turning Riccardo Orsolini’s corner into his own net under no pressure, then failing to mark the same player for a header at the back post on Musa Barrow’s cross.

The Calabria club is still without a victory in Serie A this season, a stretch that goes back 11 rounds if we include the 2017-18 campaign. Crotone played their first-ever Serie A match at the Stadio Dall’Ara, a 1-0 defeat decided by Mattia Destro in August 2016.
Ciro Immobile’s diving header and Joaquin Correa from a tight angle managed to decide the 2-0 Lazio victory against Crotone. Their coach Giovanni Stroppa admits he wasn’t sure the game with Lazio would go ahead after flooding and that the situation on the pitch wasn’t under control. Lazio showed they were able to adapt to the conditions and play a ‘dirtier’ game than they are accustomed to. Crotone was up against a stronger team and in those situations, they need to convert more of the opportunities they create. Crotone had good performances, but they need to put the ball in the back of the net and that is not just a technical or tactical issue. They were without central forward Denis Dragus for about six weeks, and also Emanuel Riviere was out since the first game of the season and that was also the reason for them to be good in front of the goal.
Crotone (3-5-2): Cordaz; Magallan, Marrone, Luperto; Rispoli, Benali, Cigarini, Vulic, Reca; Messias, Simy

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
