Bosnia is already relegated from the elite rank of the UNL and they need to host Italy who will secure first place in the standings if they win in Sarajevo.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s loss to the Netherlands relegated them from League A of their UEFA Nations League group with only two draws from their first five games. They are yet to win a match in 2020 and their last win came against Liechtenstein in November 2019. The current form is far from ideal, a 3-0 loss against Poland was followed by a 3-1 defeat to the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League but even in an international friendly against Iran, they were defeated in between those two fixtures. In that game, only players from the domestic Premijer league were involved. The next game will be the last for the national coach Dušan Bajević and team captain Miralem Pjanić was harsh in criticizing people from the football association. The situation is not pleasant and the players are not in the good mood to be at their highest level.
With Edin Dzeko missing due to the coronavirus, manager Dusan Bajevic may decide to give Smail Prevljak a start upfront, after Armin Hodzic failed to impress against the Netherlands. Anel Ahmedhodzic is back from suspension and ought to start at the back. Goalkeeper Jasmin Buric and forward Ermedin Demirovic left the squad before the game against the Netherlands, as the latter is ineligible while the former was nursing a muscle injury. Midfielder Gojko Cimirot is also a doubt for this game but may make the final lineup.
Bosnia-Herzegovina (4-3-3): Ibrahim Sehic (GK); Darko Todorovic, Anel Ahmedhodzic, Sinisa Sanicanin, Sead Kolasinac; Miralem Pjanic, Gojko Cimirot, Rade Krunic; Edin Visca, Smail Prevljak, Amer Gojak
Jorginho’s penalty and a Domenico Berardi strike at the end of a 27-pass move allowed a makeshift Italy to beat Poland 2-0 and go top of their Nations League group. The Azzurri were down to the bare bones, as 20 players pulled out through injury, COVID-19, or inconclusive swab tests. Andrea Belotti and first-time captain Alessandro Florenzi passed late fitness tests, with Alessandro Bastoni getting only his second senior cap. Even coach Roberto Mancini was self-isolating at home following his positive test, so assistant manager Alberico Evani was on the bench instead. This was a head-to-head for the top spot in Group A and with it a place in the Nations League Final Four tournament. With this win Italy earned their ninth point in the group, Netherlands has eight points, Poland seven, so a win vs Bosnia will be enough for Mancini and his men to go to the final tournament of the UNL.
Italy head coach Roberto Mancini could make one or two changes in defense, with Alessandro Bastoni, to get a breather after starting in both matches during this international window. He could make way for his Inter Milan teammate in Danilo D’Ambrosio while Giovanni Di Lorenzo might replace Alessandro Florenzi at right-back. Andrea Belotti should retain his role in the number nine position due to the continued absence of star striker Ciro Immobile. He should receive additional creative support from Stephan El Shaarawy and Lorenzo Insigne, although there are other options including Federico Bernardeschi and Domenico Berardi.
Italy (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Di Lorenzo, D’Ambrosio, Acerbi, Emerson; Tonali, Jorginho, Barella; El Shaarawy, Belotti, Insigne

Bosnia and Herzegovina are in a deep crisis, both on and off the pitch and anything but a comfortable away win will be more than a surprise.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
