Parma will be at Stadio Mario Rigamonti on Saturday for the Serie A game with home team Brescia. Massimo Cellino's club faith is sealed after strong defeat from their number one rival Lecce last Thursday.
They are for sure one of the two (together with SPAL) teams that will go out of the Seria A for the next campaign 2020-2021. Lecce on other hand, with win 3-1 over Brescia, survived to see another day. Not only did Brescia revive their survival hopes with their 2-1 win at SPAL last weekend, they also relegated the division's bottom-placed side in the process. But that was a second win in five matches for the Biancazzurri and, realistically speaking, they needed impossible mission, to win all four of their remaining games to stay up. They stumbled on the first step.
It is what it is, now they will host Parma on the home soil for a dignified greeting from the first league. They haven't been lucky with injuries neither, Andrea Cistana, Simon Skrabb, Emanuele Ndoj, and Dimitri Bisoli will not be taking part for Brescia gaffer Diego López.
Parma, on the other hand, will come into the meeting following on from a 2-1 Serie A win to defeat SSC Napoli in their most recent game. I Gialloblu are 14 points clear of the relegation zone with four games remaining, so barring any disasters they should not be dragged into a fight for survival, but D'Aversa will undoubtedly want to be assured of his side's safety heading into the final straight.
The stats don’t lie, and Parma have been scored against in 6 of their last 6 games, conceding 13 goals in all. But have not won against Brescia when having played them away from home in the previous 4 matches in the league. They really have not been traveling well at all. In fact, they haven't scored in 3 of their 17 away matches in Serie A this season.
Parma manager Roberto D'Aversa has a number of players out of action. Juraj Kucka, Andreas Cornelius, Matteo Scozzarella for sure.

It is a shame for Brescia because this is one of the last matches they will play on the home ground in the first league, at least not before 2020, but we think this is an easy win for mid-table Parma, with less than 2.5 goals in a match.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
