BRIGHTON VS WOLVES MATCH ANALYSIS
Brighton come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat by Arsenal in midweek to extend their winless streak to seven matches in the Premier League (D4, L3). They are two points from the bottom three and haven't won a home league game all season. They face Wolves who lost to Manchester United on Tuesday (1-0) after conceding a deflected effort in stoppage time. They are sitting in 12th place with 21 points and will look for a win, after two defeats and a draw, to catch up with the top-six.
The loss against the Gunners means that Brighton are still hovering just above the relegation line, as Burnley leapfrogged the Seagulls to 16th place with a win against Sheffield Utd. In fairness, it could be said that their disappointing results in this campaign have not been a true reflection of their performances. But after losing the lead twice against the Hammers last weekend and the latest defeat, the Potter's must regroup before welcoming Wolves to the South Coast.
Against Arsenal, Brighton boss Graham Potter left forwards Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck on the bench - two of six changes made to the starting XI. His side once again looked comfortable and composed on the ball but it was a frustrating story in the attack. They were punished for it in the second-half when Alexandre Lacazette scored in the 66th minute after spending only 17 seconds on the pitch.
Wolves, on the other hand, are badly missing Raul Jimenez. The Mexico international's absence has shown a bluntness in the attack, with youngster Fabio Silva still learning his trade. Pedro Neto has impressed, while Daniel Podence and Adama Traore could prove to be crucial if they want to challenge for the top-six again. However, after their latest defeat, the Wolves have only won one of their last six matches (L4, D1).
Tuesday's game against Man Utd seemed destined to be a draw when Rashford took possession on the edge of the area, near to the goal-line. His shot was deflected off Romain Saiss to leave Rui Patricio completely wrong-footed. Although the night did not end well for Wolves, it was another good one for Wolves' young forward Pedro Neto as there was plenty of evidence at Old Trafford of a potential star in the making.

Brighton are this season's draw specialists with seven so far, and four of them have come in their last seven games. The Seagulls are good on the eye, but they don't score merely enough goals. That's why they could be in trouble come May, especially if they lose the Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma, who was comfortably Brighton's best player on the pitch, to a bigger club in January.
Wolves have a similar problem because they don't have much of a cutting edge. Since the Mexican striker's injury, the Wolves have won one of six matches. They were excellent in possession against the Red Devils but were poor in the final third. It is rumored that Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for a striker in a January transfer window but on young Neto’s performance, he may reconsider the thought.
Bettingkick’s prediction for the Brighton vs Wolves match is: Under 2.5 goals

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
