1 - 3
Bristol host Norwich at Ashton Gate Stadium (Bristol) in the 9th round of the Championship on Saturday, October 31 and the match kicks off at 12.30pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
The Robins have had a perfect start to the season having won their first four matches. It seems like they got a bit tired after that as they came away only with 2 points from their next 4 matches. After their latest defeat to Bornemouth (1-0) they fell to 6th with 14 points as they await Norwich at home next.
After eight rounds the Canaries are in 7th place with 14 points after winning their season opener away at Huddersfield (0-1), drawing against Preston next (2-2) and losing twice in a row to Bournemouth (1-0) and Derby County (0-1). However, after that mixed bag of results they are unbeaten in their last four games, having won three matches on the trot before sharing the spoils with Brentford in London.
MATCH ANALYSIS
Bristol City showed promise early on in last season as they were in the play-off mix until January. But the lack of consistency that was plaguing them in the last five seasons saw them finish disappointingly without a proper fight, which was a signal for the end of Lee Johnson's time at the helm. The team now looks good on paper and with a relatively easy start to the season and four successive wins, they got the early momentum going.
However, that 'streaky' trait of theirs has shown its face again as they have not recorded a win since then and on a barren run of four games without a victory (D2-L2). Against the Cherries they were unable to muster a response to Danjuma's late strike and Dean Holden's side, who were without injured pair Alfie Mawson and Andreas Weimann, have slipped to 6th following a fourth game without a win.
As for Norwich, The Canaries, with a core of the side that won the automatic promotion two seasons ago still intact, along with the new signings, should be able to fight for the title again. It is a long campaign, but the club is settled and manager Daniel Farke has really stamped his authority at the club. However, after losing two matches on the trot in Rounds 3 and 4, their plans to immediately return to the Premier League might have been put in jeopardy, but they responded in style and won their next three games.
They remained unbeaten in four games after they grabbed a point against Brentford next. Daniel Farke's side had scored winners beyond the 86-minute mark in each of their previous three matches, but had looked unlikely to salvage anything against the Bees until lady luck smiled on them with a fortuitous equaliser on 87 minutes. They have another tough away fixture in Bristol next.

These two teams have been involved in 12 matches since 2007 and Norwich has an upper hand with 5 victories to Bristol’s 4.
All Bristol’s wins were before 2010, meaning Norwich are unbeaten in their last 8 head-to-head matches (W5-D3).
Bristol is above Norwich in 6th on goal difference and it is high time they get on the winning path again. However, they host an in-form Norwich who can finish above them at the end of the day.
My prediction for this match is: Under 2.5 goals

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
