Burnley host Leeds at Turf Moor (Burnley) in the 36th round of the Premier League and the match kicks off at 12.30 pm (UK) on Saturday, May 15. Read our reasons for Burnley vs Leeds prediction and betting tips.
Burnley require two points from their remaining three games to avoid matching their lowest points tally since returning to the Premier League (PL) in 2016. Beating Fulham on Monday secured their PL status, but only once this season have they achieved back-to-back PL wins. Visitors Leeds have been a tough side to overcome in recent weeks, losing just one of their previous eight matches (W4, D3). Confidence should therefore be high, especially given their standout record against sides starting the gameweek 13th or below (W10, L3). Yet, just one victory across the past six H2Hs proves this one may not be straightforward.
Burnley have won two of their last three to pull clear of the bottom three and with Premier League safety achieved they now have no pressure heading into their final three games of the season. The Clarets can breathe easy and plan for another campaign in the top flight after claiming a 2-0 triumph at Craven Cottage. Ashley Westwood put the Clarets ahead on 35 minutes and Chris Wood continued his good run of form just before half-time.
However, Sean Dyche will be disappointed by his team’s run of eight top-flight home games without a win, which included five draws and both teams scoring in six, especially as they netted first in each of the last two (L2). Subsequently, only Everton and Newcastle have picked up fewer PL home clean sheets (3) this term, which represents a real fall from grace given that last campaign they were second only to Man City in this department (8).
Meanwhile, Leeds are still looking to finish in the top half of the table after seeing off Spurs 3-1 at Elland Road. Excellent Stuart Dallas struck for the eighth time in the Premier League this season on 13 minutes before Son Heung-min levelled. Patrick Bamford then bagged his 15th league goal of the campaign and Rodrigo’s late effort capped off a fine performance. The energy and enthusiasm shown by the 30-year-old Northern Ireland international epitomises why the Whites have won over so many new admirers this term.
Across Europe’s top-five leagues, only Monaco share a record with Leeds of not yet drawing a top-flight away game (W8, L9). Including Championship outings last season, they’re without an away draw in 23 league fixtures - this is one short of a club record set back in 1927! Additionally, three of their last five PL road trips ended in defeat ‘to nil’ (W2). Nevertheless, Leeds have only lost one of their last eight Premier League matches and beat Burnley 1-0 in the reverse fixture and we expect them to come on top at Turf Moor again.

Burnley meet Leeds having previously won each of their last three home league meetings with the Whites, more than they had in their previous 11 (W2, D2, L7). The Clarets have never won four league matches in a row against Leeds at Turf Moor.
Leeds are the only side in the Premier League yet to draw away from home this season which tells you there will be a winner at Turf Moor on Saturday. With Burnley currently on the longest winless streak in the division on home soil (eight games without a win), Leeds should be favoured here.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
