Burnley host Tottenham at Turf Moor (Burnley) in the 6th round of the Premier League on Monday, October 26 and the match kicks off at 8m (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
Burnley are in the 18th place after picking up their first point of the campaign against West Brom in a goalless draw, albeit with a game in hand. They had lost all of their matches before the last round, against Leicester away (4-2), Southampton at home (0-1) and away at Newcvastle (3-1). Burnley desperately need points against West Brom to kick-start their season as the club is going through the motions on all levels.
Tottenham seems like they have shifted into another gear after a blend start against Everton (0-1). The Spurs followed it with an excellent performance against Southampton away (5-2) and were left frustrated with a solitary point after a controversial ending to their match against Newcastle on match-day 3. They followed it with a historic win against 10-men Man Utd (1-6) before the international break, but were held to a draw by West Ham as they squandered a 3-0 lead to climb down the table to 8th with 7 points.
MATCH ANALYSIS
After losing three games on the trot in the top flight for the first time since 1927-28 the Clarets earned a point against the Baggies, but will surely feel frustrated they were not able to leave The Hawthorns with all three points as they created the better opportunities. Sean Dyche has rightly been praised for his leadership with a modestly assembled Clarets squad - having provided a second top-10 finish in five Premier League seasons in 2019/2020, but an already thin squad is at its limits. Dyche implied that he needs more players, but with the transfer window closed now, he will have to work with what he has at his disposal. Furthermore, they have been very unfortunate with injuries and with four players side-lined, they still have four important players missing. However, Dyche had done wonders with the Clarets' modest squad before, so let's not write them off already.
As for Tottenham, they have registered their first win in the Europa League against LASK (3-0) in midweek, but their league performances are still very inconsistent. They thoroughly demolished Manchester Utd in the league at Old Trafford before the international break as Jose Mourinho returned to Old Trafford and humiliated his former club, but were stunned by West Ham in their next game as they went from sublime to ridiculous in the span of last 10 minutes. The Spurs defense, barely tested before the break, creaked and then collapsed when it finally came under pressure at the crunch. Manuel Lanzini's brilliant long-range strike in injury time levelled the scores to complete the astonishing comeback. On the more positive note, Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min are in a splendid form and with Bale back to fitness, they should have enough fire-power to pass the Burnley test.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
