CARDIFF VS NORWICH MATCH ANALYSIS
After a 3-2 win against Birmingham, Cardiff have lost their next four games. They last lost 2-1 to Wycombe in the league and their misery was compounded by a 1-0 FA Cup exit in Round 3 at the hands of Notts Forest last Saturday. They have fallen to 15th in the league, further away from play-offs with every defeat. As for the visitors, Daniel Farke's side got back to winning ways in 2021 as they beat Barnsley 1-0 in the league and Coventry in the FA Cup (2-0) at home. The Canaries remain top of the league with 47 points, four more than second-placed Swansea.
This current downturn in form will be particularly frustrating for Harris and add pressure on him as it has come off the back of five wins in four. The losing run started with a reverse fixture of Saturday’s match against Norwich and it’s now apparent that it’s not just the case of an early hangover from the last season's play-off defeat to Fulham. That has not been the only worrying sequence of results this season, which the Bluebirds started with a mere three wins from their opening 13 fixtures. After a defeat at strugglers Wycombe, manager Neil Harris admitted that he was fighting to keep his job, having held talks with Cardiff's owner Vincent Tan. The FA Cup exit heaped even more pressure on Bluebirds’ boss as they were left to rue their lack of creative sparkle.
Norwich, on the other hand, are determined to return to the Premier League immediately and will stick to their attacking style of play when they visit Cardiff next. Finland attacker Pukki looks unstoppable at the moment, and he is likely to prove a handful for the hosts on Saturday afternoon. Against Barnsley, Norwich went four points clear at the top of the Championship as Emiliano Buendia's smart finish secured victory over the Tykes. Valerien Ismael's side started better and it took until the second half for the chances to come for the hosts. Eventually, they got their first win in three matches, which was followed a week later with a progress to the Round 4 of the FA Cup against Coventry. Most importantly, they kept the momentum that can change so quickly in this league and are coming into this weekend’s match in red-hot form.

Cardiff last hosted Norwich for a league match back in December 2017, winning 3-1 under Neil Warnock during their promotion-winning campaign in 2017/18.
The Bluebirds haven’t lost four consecutive Championship matches since January 2018 and have a very difficult task of staying at that number against the table-topping Canaries.
Norwich, interestingly, have an identical record at the halfway stage of this Championship season (W14 D5 L4) as they had in 2018/19 when they went on to win the Championship title. Their last 12 away goals have been scored by either Teemu Pukki (eight) or Emiliano Buendía (four), who will torment the Bluebirds' defense for sure.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
