All eyes will be on Estadio de Balaidos when Celta Vigo and Barcelona face each other on day 4 of the new La Liga campaign.
Os Celeste have been producing fine displays at the start of the season, with the team beating Valencia, while sharing the spoils with Real Valladolid and Eibar. The Galicians are undefeated in the previous six meetings with Barca at home in La Liga, which is surely giving the hosts a reason for optimism ahead of the midweek clash. Barcelona will be looking to build on their impressive opening-game victory under Ronald Koeman when they take on Celta Vigo at Balaidos on Thursday evening. The Catalan giants brushed aside Villarreal 4-0 on Sunday to make a positive start to life under Koeman, who was brought in as Quique Setien's successor during the summer. Teenage forward Ansu Fati scored twice and won a penalty that was converted by Lionel Messi, while Pau Torres put into his own net in the one-sided affair.
The Catalan giants, on the other hand, continue life without Luis Suarez, who joined Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window. Leo Messi is still part of the team, and the Argentine superstar will be the man to watch in the away team. Barca rolled over Villarreal 4-0 at Camp Nou at the weekend but seeing that Estadio de Balaidos seems to be cursed for them, the share of spoils is on the cards. Celta, meanwhile, opened their La Liga season with a goalless draw at Eibar on September 12 before picking up an impressive 2-1 home victory over Valencia and draw last weekend against Valladolid, to move into the fourth spot in the table. Iago Aspas scored twice against Los Che, and it does appear that Celta will have to rely on the Spaniard heavily this season due to their lack of genuine goalscoring options in the final third of the field. The Sky Blues only just survived in the top flight during the 2019-20 campaign, ultimately finishing the season in 17th position, just one point clear of 18th-place Leganes.

Barcelona have no players suspended for this first away outing of the campaign. But Celta Vigo are in great shape as well. This will be the most interesting match of the day and we are sure Celta will give a hell of the fight against Barcelona. There will be no easy chances for Barcelona what so ever. Our prediction is more than 2.5 goals.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
