The game kicks off at 8.15pm(UK) when Chelsea host Norwich on Tuesday 14 July at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea succumbed to their second-worst Premier League defeat since Frank Lampard took over (4:0 in his managerial debut vs. Manchester United) on Saturday against Sheffield United, as their hopes of securing the Champions League took a huge dent. If Leicester and Manchester United win their respective games, they will both overtake the Blues.
Norwich, though, officially got relegated at the weekend, after West Ham's Antonio put four goals behind goalkeeper Tim Krul. Daniel Farke said after the match that the outcome was not unexpected at all, but he will definitely feel disappointed to go back down to the Championship after the promotion last year. It looks like that they won't bother with the remaining games anymore. Their minds will definitely be elsewhere.
CHELSEA VS NORWICH MATCH ANALYSIS
Christian Pulisic, Willian and Olivier Giroud are in great form, but Chelsea's defence was not up to the task, as it were the case too many times this season. They have scored 36 goals on the road, but conceded 33 , which clearly points at things that need sorting out during the summer. They had 76% ball possession, but pondered too much with the ball.
However, against Norwich, with as much time on the ball, if not more, they should be able to score a few. They probably will, but, as Frank Lampard admitted, they have now lost control of their own destiny.
With only three games to play Norwich are rooted at the bottom of the table with 13 points below safety. It was their 24th defeat of the season and they didn't score in 17 of those games which is a league record. Their form after the restart only got worse and they lost all six games so far. If they continue to be toothless in front of the goal and dismall when it comes to defending they might set a record for the fewest away goals in the Premier League era.

Even though, it was a huge blow for Chelsea, the defeat at the weekend should galvanize the team because the race for those 4 spots will probably take some more twists and turns. On Tuesday, anything but Chelsea's win will be nothing short of a miracle.
The highlight of the season for the Canaries will be their defeat of Manchester City (3:2) and to be fair to them, they took some points off from other big teams, but, eventually, didn't produce against most sides in the league. They are ready to open a new chapter, definitely one containing many uncertainties over whether they will keep their star players and the manager and will they be able to cover the costs of the pandemic. For the Tuesday's game, it's hard to think of them as nothing more but passengers.
