The game kicks off at 4pm (UK) when Chelsea host Wolves on Sunday 26 July at the Stamford Bridge.
For Chelsea, who are one point clear of fifth-placed Leicester, and sit behind Manchester United on goal difference, only a single point against Wolves on the final day will suffice to secure a Champions League place, because Leicester and Manchester United are facing each other in another top four decider.
Despite their 5:3 defeat against champions Liverpool on Wednesday, they remain in the pole position to secure one of the two remaining CL qualifying spots.
The easiest scenario for Wolves to qualify for Europa League would be to defeat the Blues, but other options are still on the table. They can end up seventh in the PL and still qualify if Chelsea wins the FA Cup, or they can go on to win the Europa League, and even qualify automatically for the next season's Champions League, which will be an ideal, but unlikely scenario in this case. Whatever happens, they still have too much to play for, and their season is far from over.
CHELSEA VS WOLVERHAMPTON MATCH PREVIEW
Chelsea lost against Liverpool in midweek, but they can still take a lot of positives from the game. They put up a good fight, showed no intentions of giving up until the final whistle, and cameos from Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic will be huge encouragement for Frank Lampard, as he is certain to start both from the first whistle on Sunday.
Chelsea have won their last five home games, averaging nearly over 2.5 goals in each game. As the stats show, they have scored in first thirty minutes in three of those games, and will certainly be set to start aggressively from the kick off. Olivier Giroud is another Blue who's been scoring for fun lately, and with enough attacking power, the only question will be whether Chelsea wil be undone by their porous and leaky defense.
The Wanderers will, unquestionably, have a go at them from the very beginning. They have no fresh injury woes, and Espirito Nuno Santo will field the strongest possible eleven. They passed the Crystal Palace test in midweek with ease (0:2), and the 59 points they've picked up so far are their highest points tally ever in the Premier League.
Interesting piece of trivia is that they don't have a single English player who scored in this campaign, which, frankly told, won't matter much, as they have twelve different players, who scored 51 times altogether this season.

With only a win securing them European football next season through the league, Wolves' chances to lend a blow to Chelsea's Champions League hopes cannot be dismissed that easily. They weren't as prolific on their trips recently, and back in September, in the reverse fixture were drubbed by Chelsea in a 5:2 defeat.
In case Chelsea lose this game, they can still qualify for CL if Manchester United beat Leicester in their final game. And with so many possible outcomes, it's better for both teams to focus on what they do best, and hope for the right set of circumstances to go their way.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
