CRAWLEY VS LEEDS MATCH ANALYSIS
Crawley boss John Yems has described Saturday’s tie as the 'biggest home game' in the history of the club. They come into this match after a morale-boosting 1-0 away win at one of the biggest clubs in League Two, Bolton. The only disappointment will be that nearly 6000 Reds supporters will not be there to roar on their favourites. Otherwise, the timing is perfect. Leeds, on the other hand, returned to winning ways with a tight home win against Burnley on Boxing Day and demolished West Brom 0-5 in midweek next. However, they come into this match on the back of a comfortable 3-0 defeat against Tottenham in London.
Since eliminating AFC Wimbledon in the previous round John Yems’ team have been undefeated in eight League Two games and have climbed into the play-off places. They will kick off full of confidence after recording two excellent away wins. Having lowered the colours of second-placed Forest Green Rovers thanks to an excellent double from Tom Nichols they took on the most prestigious name in the division – Bolton Wanderers. They returned from Lancashire with three points secured by skipper George Francomb’s crisp finish to an excellent team move that was backed up by a resilient defensive display as the Trotters raised their game. After Manchester United’s single goal win in front of nearly 75000 at Old Trafford in 2011, this is their second chance at the big stage and nobody will be totally surprised if they cause a cup upset.
They will be well aware that Leeds’ games in the Premier League this term have produced more goals than any other club. The opposition manager, Marco Bielsa, believes in attacking football which on occasions has left his defence wide open. They have conceded more goals than even their near neighbours Sheffield United who are at the foot of the table with a mere two points to their name. Leeds didn’t have much FA Cup glory last year as they were knocked out by Arsenal (1-0) at this early stage. Bielsa’s side didn’t have too much fun at the weekend against Tottenham. Leeds were broken and the cold truth is that no team can afford to defend as generously as they did. Even against lesser sides such as Crawley Town.

Crawley have reached the third round for the first time since 2012-13 when they were eliminated by Premier League side Reading. They have also lost all of their FA Cup matches against Premier League opposition – vs Man Utd (2010/11), vs Stoke (2011/12), and vs Reading (2012/13).
Leeds, on the other hand, have been eliminated in the third round in each of their last three campaigns, their worst run since a four-season stretch between 2003/04 and 2006/07. And as a Premier League side, they have lost two of their last three third-round matches, most recently against Arsenal in 2003/04.
BettingKick’s prediction for the Crawley Town vs Leeds match is: Leeds win

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
