Crotone and Parma must show better commitment in the next match after losses from Samp and Juve at the weekend.
Giovanni Stroppa sees a lack of ‘determination and focus’ as the main problems for Crotone after their 3-1 defeat to Sampdoria. The Squali saw their positive streak come to an end at Marassi with a 3-1 defeat, as Nwankwo Simy’s penalty was not enough against Mikkel Damsgaard, Jakub Jankto, and Fabio Quagliarella.
Sampdoria confirmed their counter-attacking capabilities and that Fabio Quagliarella still knows where the goal is as they swept Crotone aside 3-1. The Blucerchiati struck twice in the first half with similar moves, as first Jakub Jankto set up the goal for Mikkel Damsgaard, then scored the second himself from a wayward Antonino La Gumina effort. Nwankwo Simy converted a penalty for Crotone after the scintillating Arkadiusz Reca run. However, Quagliarella came off the bench and within five minutes had found the net at the back post.
Home boss Giovanni Stroppa could again be without key midfielders Luca Cigarini and Ahmad Benali for the Squali's fourth fixture in 10 days. Such a relentless schedule probably necessitates that Stroppa will rotate his squad, with experienced striker Emmanuel Riviere potentially joining Simy upfront. Azzurrini midfielder Nicolo Zanellato is set for a place in midfield and Giuseppe Cuomo could come into a leaky three-man defense.
Crotone (3-4-1-2): Alex Cordaz (GK); Lisandro Magallan, Giuseppe Cuomo, Sebastiano Luperto; Pedro Pereira, Salvatore Molina, Jacopo Petriccione, Arkadiusz Reca; Junior Messias; Emmanuel Riviere, Simy
Fabio Liverani maintains Parma felt the fatigue and frustration in a 4-0 defeat to Juventus. ‘You need to covert 100 percent of your opportunities and we didn’t do that.’ The Ducali had held Inter and Milan to 2-2 draws in recent weeks, moments away from victory, but it was never in doubt this evening against Juve. Dejan Kulusevski and a Cristiano Ronaldo brace had it at 3-0 by the start of the second half, then Alvaro Morata added a late fourth. The Juventus players were also allowed to finish under relatively little pressure.
Parma manager Fabio Liverani has doubts over Giuseppe Pezzella's involvement on Tuesday, with the full-back having also missed the Juventus game. Under-pressure Liverani is likely to rotate his XI after a fatigued display at the weekend, with misfiring striker Roberto Inglese and inconsistent Yann Karamoh ready to start in place of Andreas Cornelius and young Swiss midfielder Simon Sohm in a more attacking 4-3-3. Juan Brunetta and Belgian right-back Maxime Busi could also be called up from the bench, while Alberto Grassi, Vincent Laurini, Valentin Mihaila, and Juventus loanee Hans Nicolussi Caviglia are all ruled out.
Parma (4-3-3): Luigi Sepe (GK); Simone Iacoponi, Yordan Osorio, Bruno Alves, Riccardo Gagliolo; Juraj Kucka, Gaston Brugman, Jasmin Kurtic; Yann Karamoh, Roberto Inglese, Gervinho.

As coach Liverani stated Parma didn't have fuel to exploit spaces that Juventus defense left for them, but against Crotone, they have better chances to earn points.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
