The game kicks off at 6pm (UK) when Crystal Palace host Manchester United on Thursday 16 July at the Selhurst Park in London.
Crystal Palace lost their fifth successive match against Aston Villa (2:0) on Sunday, and it's their fifth consecutive defeat in Premier League, where they scored only twice (against Chelsea), and conceded fifteen times. At the moment, it seems like the whole squad is on holidays, after they secured their safety and made sure that they cannot get involved in any of the European competitions. However, Roy Hodgson's men should take a look at themselves, and think of the fans, before they finish this campaign with a whimper.
Manchester United, on the other hand, still have to much too lose after a disappointing draw against Southampton on Monday, when they conceded from a corner, deep in the stoppage time. It was a huge blow to their Champions League hopes, eased a bit only by the defeats of their direct rivals, Leicester and Chelsea. However, they should be aware of the opportunity missed to be in a commanding position in the third place.
CRYSTAL PALACE VS MANCHESTER UNITED MATCH ANALYSIS
This week, Crystal Palace's players have been the subjects of the media scrutiny for all the wrong reasons, after Wilfried Zaha revealed he had received racial abuse, which is, in all fairness, despicable, and after Christian Benteke was sent off against Villa for poor sportmenship. Both players should probably focus more on their talking on the pitch, as their goal scoring records are nothing short of disappointing this season.
Benteke faces a suspension, which will rule him out for the rest of the season, and Roy Hodgson said after the game that it was something, which cannot be justified. What shouldn't be justified, is also their poor form after the restart, and they should at least look to finish the season with dignity.
The Red Devils have a chance to 'get it right' this time, after a heart-wrenching draw against Southampton. Solskjaer's side were on a right path to overtake direct rivals, and move to third, but as things are now, they are left in the fifth, with three games left to secure CL qualification.
They have enough quality to win in London, with Fernandes, Martial, Greenwood, all being in top form in recent weeks, and Rashford and Pogba finding their feet again.Manchester United are still unbeaten in 18 games in all competitions (W13,D5), and will look to continue that run.

Roy Hodgson will look for a much improved performance from his side. They still have to play against Tottenham and Wolves, and if they want to resemble a proper side, they should raise their game before the season ends.
Manchester United will hope that the Eagles don't regroup that fast, and to take maximum points from Selhurst Park, because next week they have a clash with Chelsea, which will be huge for both teams.
My prediction: Both teams to score

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
