DERBY VS COVENTRY MATCH ANALYSIS
Derby will be looking to put an end to their ten-matches winless run (D4-L6) when they host the Sky Blues on Matchday 15. They are second from the bottom with 7 points and the Rams just can’t find their form in the early stage of the season (W1, D4, L9). Wayne Rooney drew his first game in charge of the Rams against Wycombe and thus, ended their four-game losing run, but they still remain 23rd in the standings. As for Coventry, the visitors, with their three wins, four draws, and seven defeats so far, are 20th in the table with 13 points. The newcomers have picked up their form and are on their little unbeaten run in three games (W1-D2), having lost six in eight matches before. More importantly, they have only conceded once in those three games. Sky Blues fans could see their side drop into the bottom three again after the weekend is over, so they will be looking for a win against fellow strugglers Derby.
Derby's form represents their worst start to a season since setting a Premier League record in 2007-08, and are now only five points from the bottom Sheffield Wed following the 1-1 home draw against Wycombe at the weekend. The Rams have won just one game all season and are yet to register a victory at Pride Park. The quartet Rooney, Liam Rosenior, Shay Given, and Justin Walker oversaw two defeats after Phillip Cocu's exit on 14 November, but the Wycombe game was the first with Rooney in sole charge of the Rams.
Duane Holmes' first goal of the campaign seemed sufficient to earn Derby their second win in 14 Championship games, but Wycombe’s Bloomfield, punished Derby's second-half wastefulness and inability to clear danger, with an equalizer that left the Rams bottom of the table. They are now the lowest scoring side in the three divisions of the English Football League, and it is a big question whether Rooney will be made a permanent manager now that the club takeover led by Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan is nearly completed.
Coventry, on the other hand, have been missing from the Championship for eight years. Mark Robins, in his second stint at the club, did an excellent job of leading the team back to the second-tier, and he did so in style. For them, the biggest objective will be to stay up and anything better than that will be a bonus. Coventry still look like they’re trying to find their feet in their long-awaited return to the second-tier of English football, and will be satisfied to have taken a point at Norwich on Saturday (1-1).
Maxime Biamou's last-minute equalizer helped the Sky Blues come away from the Carrow Road with a valuable point. Mario Vrancic's penalty put the Canaries ahead, but Mark Robins’ men got a deserved equalizer at the death when the French attacker connected with Ryan Giles' ball into the box. After five points from a run of three games unbeaten, Sky Blues move up a place to 20th in the Championship, now three points clear of the relegation places, and will look for their first away win against the out-of-sorts Rams.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
