Goals shouldn't be the problem when Eintracht Frankfurt host Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Frankfurt finally ended a nine-game winless run just before the winter break, the 2-0 triumph in Augsburg lifting them to ninth over Christmas. It was a much-needed boost for Adi Hütter's side in their bid to return to the UEFA Europa League. Top scorer Silva was substituted late on in that game having recently struggled with muscular complaints, but the two-week break should have helped him recover fitness to start here. He'll be all the more likely to do so since fellow striker Bas Dost is no longer at the club following his transfer to Club Brugge.
In-form Aymen Barkok, who has two goals and three assists in his last six games, is vying for a place in attacking midfield with Daichi Kamada, the club's most potent creative outlet (two goals, five assists) after Silva this term. Sebastian Rode misses out through suspension, so Stefan Ilsanker is set to deputize in defensive midfield. Defender David Abraham returns from a ban, while Jetro Willems could soon be available again after joining full training this week after a lengthy injury lay-off.
Frankfurt: Trapp - Abraham (c), Hasebe, Hinteregger - Durm, Sow, Ilsanker, Kostic - Barkok, Kamada - Silva
Out: Ache (hamstring), Rode (suspended), Willems (fitness)
Doubtful: -
Coach: Adi Hütter
Whereas draw specialists Frankfurt have struggled to find their rhythm this term, Leverkusen has been flying. Peter Bosz's side is second in the standings, losing for the first time this season against Bayern Munich just before the break. That defeat against the defending champions, which saw Leverkusen drop to second, only came via an injury-time strike from Robert Lewandowski.
Leverkusen is without the majority of their South American contingent in Charles Aranguiz, Exequiel Palacios, Santiago Arias, Paulinho, and Wendell due to either injury or illness. However, the form of Bailey (four goals, four assists) and fellow attackers Nadiem Amiri, Moussa Diaby, Florian Wirtz, Patrik Schick, and Lucas Alario has more than helped compensate for those absences. Daley Sinkgraven has been ruled out, though, leaving Bosz short at left-back. Tin Jedvaj or Mitchell Weiser could come in.
Leverkusen: Hradecky - Dragovic, Tah, Tapsoba, Jedvaj - Wirtz, Baumgartlinger (c), Amiri - Bailey, Alario, Diaby
Out: Aranguiz (Achilles tendon), Arias (ankle), Palacios (back), Paulinho (knee), Sinkgraven (not included), Wendell (not included)
Doubtful: L. Bender (thigh), S. Bender (knee)
Coach: Peter Bosz

It is very easy to write that Frankfurt and Leverkusen are trying to outscore their rivals rather than save their net. Both teams to score is the most reasonable bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
