Andre Silva will be out to extend his record scoring run for Eintracht Frankfurt when the Eagles host VfB Stuttgart on Saturday. Read our reasons for Eintracht Frankfurt vs Stuttgart prediction and betting tips.
Silva scored his fifth goal in his last five games and 19th of the season in total last weekend, but his Frankfurt side's 11-match unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of Werder Bremen. Silva has scored seven times in his last five league games. He's the first Frankfurt player to enjoy such a streak in consecutive matches since Sebastien Haller in 2018. The Eagles allowed a lead to slip in an eventual 2-1 defeat to Werder, which allowed Borussia Dortmund to chase back three points on Frankfurt in the race for the final UEFA Champions League qualification place for next season. Frankfurt will be desperate to return to winning ways as soon as possible.
Kostic has scored, assisted, or both in his last six Bundesliga matches in a row, and seven of his last eight. While Luka Jovic remains an unlikely candidate to start alongside Silva - with Adi Hütter's 3-4-2-1 working well. Frankfurt also has French defender Evan N'Dicka available following suspension. His return should see Makoto Hasebe push up into midfield. Frankfurt is one of three teams still unbeaten on home soil in this season's Bundesliga, along with Bayern and Wolfsburg.
Frankfurt: Trapp - Tuta, Hinteregger, N'Dicka - Durm, Sow, Hasebe (c), Kostic - Kamada, Younes - Silva

In Sasa Kalajdzic and Borna Sosa, Stuttgart has a scoring and assisting pair that could match Frankfurt's deadly duo of Kostic and Silva at the weekend. Austrian striker Kalajdzic scored for the fifth straight game, while left wing-back Sosa assisted a goal for the third match in a row as Stuttgart outclassed bottom side Schalke 5-1 last time out. Sosa's eight assists have all come since Matchday 11, including two against Schalke. With Nicolas Gonzalez still a long-term absentee, Kalajdzic's starting place is under no threat, while Mateo Klimowicz, Daniel Didavi, and Philipp Förster are competing for the right to join Gonzalo Castro in support behind him.
Stuttgart's Silas Wamagituka has not found the net in four, but Kalajdzic has struck six goals across five successive games. Both are on 11 goals for the campaign. Wataru Endo bagged a brace against the Royal Blues, having gone all season without scoring before that, and he will continue in a box-to-box midfield role to potentially go up against his former Japan international teammate, Hasebe.
Stuttgart: Kobel - Mavropanos, Anton, Kempf - Silas, Mangala, Endo, Sosa - Klimowicz, Castro (c) - Kalajdzic
Out: Egloff (ankle), Gonzalez (hamstring), Mola (hip), Thommy (hip)
Doubtful: -
Coach: Pellegrino Matarazzo

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
