Everton host Fulham at the Goodison Park (Liverpool) in the 24th round of the Premier League and the match kicks off at 4.30 pm (UK) on Sunday, February 14. Read our reasons for Everton vs Fulham prediction and betting tips.
Everton will still be on a high after their thrilling midweek FA Cup win but Carlo Ancelotti will need to make sure there's no comedown when they host Fulham in the Premier League. While Toffees fans will be dreaming of a first Cup triumph since 1995 in the wake of that incredible 5-4 victory over Spurs, the experienced Italian will have his sights fixed on breaking into the top four. Fulham meanwhile, desperately need the three points as they sit within the bottom three having not won in their last 12 Premier League games (D8, L4). The Cottagers have been playing far better football than their current league position (18th) suggests. They will look to upset the in-form hosts at the weekend as they need to start turning some of those draws into wins.
After a thrilling 5-4 victory after extra time in their FA Cup fifth-round clash vs Tottenham in midweek, Everton turn their attention back to Premier League action as they host Fulham. It remains to be seen how much that FA Cup match took out of the Toffees physically and they head into this encounter with a number of injury doubts as Dominic Calvert-Lewin limped off with a hamstring injury during the 5-4 victory over Tottenham.
The Toffees come into the weekend just three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool with two games in hand and it would be a huge feather in Ancelotti's cap if he delivered a Champions League slot in his first full season. But while Everton have impressed this term they have also thrown in the odd dodgy display to lose momentum, crashing against West Ham (1-0) and Newcastle (2-0) at Goodison since the turn of the year.
On the other hand, Fulham shared a goalless draw with West Ham at Craven Cottage in which they were the better of the two teams but couldn’t take their chances. They’re eight points from safety after Burnley and Brighton who are 17th and 15th respectively shared the spoils at Turf Moor on Saturday. The hosts demonstrated that they are no pushovers recently, but they are making a habit of being on the rough end of fine margins.
While the Cottagers have tightened things up at the back, they’ll continue to struggle if they don’t create an attacking platform. Eight draws and two defeats by a single goal in their last twelve fixtures suggest their battle against the drop will go right down to the wire. Scott Parker's side indeed seem improved, but they still find it hard to win games - which is why they are still in the bottom three.

Everton welcome Fulham first time in the top-flight since season 2013/14. The Toffees have won four of the last five meetings, including a 3-2 triumph at Craven Cottage earlier this season. Fulham's record at Goodison is dismal, losing on their last 12 visits, and you have to go back to 1975 for their last win there.
The prospect of a Champions League spot is still very much a realistic one for the Toffees, despite Man City and Liverpool games looming in their next two league rounds. Meanwhile, if Fulham are to stay up, they need to improve rather sooner than later. Given that three of their next five games come against teams currently in the top six, they will need to pull off a few shocks along the way.
Taking into consideration the absence of Everton's strikers and Fulham's own goalscoring issues, BettingKick’s Everton vs Fulham prediction is: Under 2.5 goals

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
