EVERTON VS MANCHESTER UTD MATCH ANALYSIS
Everton’s unbeaten run of 5 games came to an end (W4-D1) at Southampton (2-0) in the sixth week of the Premier League and they followed it with another away defeat at Newcastle (2-1). Those 13 points are now enough for 4th place after they have topped the table for last couple of weeks. As for the Man Utd, they are in the 15th place with 7 points from their respective fixtures, albeit with a game in hand. They demolished Leipzig in midweek in the Champions League (5-0) and only if they can translate that form into their league games. They suffered a home defeat to top-six rivals Arsenal at the weekend (0-1) and have another though fixture on Saturday.
As mentioned earlier, Everton's unbeaten run, which came to an end against Saints two weeks ago, was the last remaining unbeaten record of the new Premier League season. It ended with a crashing defeat against an impressive Southampton at St Mary's. After failing to force McCarthy into one serious save, they tried to bounce back against Newcastle, but it turned out that they could not create anything without the suspended Richarlison and injured James.
Everton missed the chance to return to the top of the Premier League as Callum Wilson scored twice to give Newcastle a first win in three matches. Dominic Calvert-Lewin's late goal was not enough to prevent Ancelotti from losing consecutive league games for the first time since he was appointed at Everton. The Toffees were too limited in the attack and against United they will probably try to nullify the Red Devils first and then look for the opener next.
Man Utd are blowing hot and cold at the moment and Solskjaer cannot afford another bad run of games. They are doing fine in Europe, but their domestic form is worrisome. They have picked up only seven points after six matches and have not won at home yet in the league (D1-L3). That is something that has never previously happened in the Premier League era, and it has been the worst start of a campaign since 1972.
At the weekend Aubameyang's second-half penalty gave Arsenal their first Premier League away win over Manchester United since 2006. Pogba had a day to forget, giving the ball away too cheaply too often and needlessly fouling Bellerin to turn the contest Arsenal's way. Over the past two weeks, United have been superb in Paris and brilliant against RB Leipzig. In between they were tepid against Chelsea and worse in this game. They need to turn the tables soon in the league or Solskjaer will start to feel the pressure.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
