Finland marked their arrival at a first international tournament with a famous 1-0 win over Denmark in Copenhagen, albeit in circumstances nobody could ever have imagined. FINLAND CLAIM FIRST EVER MAJOR TOURNAMENT WIN
Finland made their first appearance in a major tournament, but what should have been a memorable moment for the nation became one that, for the worst possible reasons, no football fan will likely forget. Russia have not lost to Finland in more than a century, and have scored 15 goals in winning the last four games between the sides. However, coming into this game, Russia don’t seem look like such formifdable obstacle anymore.
