Fiorentina and Cagliari will look to bounce back after mid-week defeats and earn some valuable points for the escape from the relegation battle zone.
Fiorentina lost 2-1 against Lazio at the Olimpico who broke their good streak of four unbeaten matches in the Serie A. After their goalless draw against Bologna, it was clear that Viola has problems with creativity as they had just one chance before they were gifted a late goal by a catalog of Lazio errors, from Strakosha’s pass straight to Jose Callejon and Wesley Hoedt pulling down Vlahovic by the jersey for a penalty, at last, converted by Vlahovic. Cagliari has ordered their squad into a training retreat to prepare for the crunch match against Fiorentina.
