Fiorentina will try to surprise Inter in their match of Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
Cesare Prandelli praised Jose Callejon after Fiorentina beat Cagliari, but admitted he gets ‘too emotionally involved’ and finds a certain aspect of training ‘embarrassing.’ This was the Viola’s first Serie A home victory since October and was achieved thanks to Dusan Vlahovic sliding onto a Jose Callejon cross from the right. However, Bartlomiej Dragowski was decisive both by saving the Joao Pedro penalty and a Razvan Marin deflected effort late on. “Every match is hard-fought in Serie A this season, so we need to fight for every ball, get our hands dirty if needs be and then the quality of an individual can make the difference.”
Prandelli returned to the Stadio Franchi and made a big difference to the team, replacing sacked Beppe Iachini. Prandelli is also having to be clinical when it comes to the transfer market, where Patrick Cutrone has already returned to Wolves and Pol Lirola is heading to Olympique Marseille. “It’s embarrassing for a coach and also the players when in training you have to do a 10 against 10 sessions, leaving four or five on the touchline just watching. It’s not good for anyone, you can’t work on the quality and it can be counterproductive to have too many players.”
Fiorentina (3-5-2): Bartlomiej Dragowski; Igor, German Pezzella, Nikola Milenkovic; Cristiano Biraghi, Gaetano Castrovilli, Borja Valero, Sofyan Amrabat, Martin Caceres; Christian Kouame, Dusan Vlahovic
Inter wasted another chance for two more points as they drew 2-2 against Roma at Stadio Olimpico. Achraf Hakimi scored a stunner off the underside of the bar, but Roma fought back to snatch a point in this four-goal thriller with Inter. It was a head-to-head for second place and the Giallorossi took first blood with Lorenzo Pellegrini’s deflected strike from the edge of the box. The Nerazzurri tend to wake up after the break and this was no different, turning the game around through Milan Skriniar’s towering header and a spectacular Hakimi screamer. Gianluca Mancini looped his header into the far corner from a set play to restore parity, the sixth consecutive Serie A draw between these clubs.
Antonio Conte is without defenders Danilo D'Ambrosio and Matteo Darmian on Wednesday, with long-term absentee Matias Vecino also still missing. The former Juventus manager could enact a significant turnover in his XI ahead of the crucial Derby D'Italia against his former club next Sunday. His 3-5-2 could feature Andrei Radu in goal, with Andrea Ranocchia and Aleksandr Kolarov coming into the back three. In midfield, Roberto Gagliardini could replace Barella and Christian Eriksen may even make a possible farewell appearance for the Nerazzurri. Alexis Sanchez should return upfront, after his penalty miss against Sampdoria last week, alongside either Lukaku or Lautaro Martinez.
Inter Milan (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Alessandro Bastoni, Aleksandar Kolarov, Andrea Ranocchia; Ivan Perisic, Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Ashley Young; Lautaro Martinez, Alexis Sanchez

Even with the mixed team, Inter has more quality but their tendency to make big defensive errors made us think that both teams to score is a most reasonable bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
