Lazio has a game in hand against Torino and has won seven of their last eight Serie A games, putting them right back into the hunt for a top-four finish. Simone Inzaghi said he will sign a contract extension with the Biancocelesti and claims his side deserved to win against Genoa. The Bianconcelesti are still in the race for a top-four finish after their 4-3 win over Genoa today. “The lads were so good. We played very well for 80 minutes. We could have scored more than four goals. We have 11 straight victories at home, another record. I am proud to be the coach of these players, we want to finish in the top four,” the coach told the media. “We faced a great team, with many quality footballers, we created so many opportunities and it’s not easy against Genoa, we deserved to win.”

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious.
