Fiorentina needs to turn things around facing a confident Udinese side at Stadio Artemio Franchi who collected their first win against Parma in the last round.
Fiorentina started brightly but things in a football change quickly so coach Beppe Iachini met with President Rocco Commisso and sporting director Daniele Prade during the week to hear is his position safe in the dugout in the incoming weeks. He got the time he wanted but the rumors aren’t going away and the winless streak of three games doesn’t match the investments made by the owner. The last news is connecting several coaches with Fiorentina so Iachini must react and turn Fiorentina into a winning team as fast as possible.
At the Viola, Franck Ribery has been paired in the front two with either Dusan Vlahovic or Christian Kouame, keeping Patrick Cutrone out in the cold. Jose Callejon, Jack Bonaventura, Sofyan Amrabat, and Cristiano Biraghi seem set to be given another chance to shine and get going with their new colors.
Fiorentina has a great record against the Friuli and is unbeaten in eight meetings and only Juventus have more wins against Udinese in Serie A.
Fiorentina (3-5-2): Dragowski; Milenkovic, Pezzella, Caceres; Callejon, Bonaventura, Amrabat, Castrovilli, Biraghi; Ribery, Kouame
Suspended: none
Injured: Borja Valero
Udinese picked up their first three points last time and aim to build on the positive result, as both sides are desperate to start climbing the table. Udinese arrives confident from a 3-2 win over Parma at the Dacia Arena last time. They haven't found the net in the first rounds of the season but were much better focused on the attack during the last weekend. The Argentine star Rodrigo de Paul stayed put and should be in the line-up against Fiorentina, with compatriot Roberto Pereyra ready to help ease his load in the middle of the park.
They are still waiting to gel after a busy transfer window and a few major signing coming from Watford. The injury list is filled by players that should be starters when available so Udinese must be patient and the level of the performances will certainly rise as time passes.
The Bianconeri have won four of their last six away games in the top tier, despite having lost the only match away to Hellas Verona this term. Udinese has conceded the first goal in the match in all four initial games in Serie A 2020-21, as Fiorentina have scored the first goal in three of four games so far.
Udinese (3-5-2): Nicolas; Becao, De Maio, Samir; Molina, De Paul, Arslan, Pereyra, Ouwejan; Lasagna, Okaka
Suspended: none
Injured: Mandragora, Stryger-Larsen, Nuytinck, Jajalo, Musso, Prodl

Fiorentina is in a must-win mood too early in the season and the pressure is rising. There are rumors that several players are not enjoying working under the current coach so it is hard to predict the outcome of the next game. With Viola attacking power and Udinese finally able to found the net, both teams to score seems the most reasonable bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
