Vincenzo Grifo goes into Freiburg's meeting with struggling Koln on Saturday in the form of his life.
There are few players across the Bundesliga enjoying as purple a patch of form as Grifo is for Freiburg. The Italy international has scored five goals and provided two assists in his last six league outings, and scored from the spot in his side's most recent win - one of four on the bounce - against former side Hoffenheim. Grifo scored his seventh goal of the season last time out against Hoffenheim, equalling his scoring record for an entire campaign from the 2018/19 season. Head coach Christian Streich should once again keep his side unchanged as they look to continue their six-match unbeaten run.
First-choice goalkeeper Mark Flekken is back in individual training as he continues his return from a broken elbow, but Florian Müller's place in the starting line-up is secure for some time yet. Nils Petersen could push for a start ahead of Ermedin Demirovic, but the Bundesliga's record goalscorer from the bench won't be kicking up a fuss should he remain a substitute this weekend.

A boost for Markus Gisdol comes in the form of a returning Ismail Jakobs who missed out last weekend due to illness. He should slot onto the left-wing, while Jan Thielmann and Ondrej Duda are expected to lead the attack once more with Sebastian Andersson no closer to returning from a knee injury. Meanwhile, 18-year-old midfielder Marvin Obuz has begun training with the first-team this week and could be part of the first-team squad for the first time.
