Fulham host Crystal Palace in the 6th week of the Premier League at Craven Cottage (London) on Saturday, October 24 and the match kicks off at 3pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
Despite picking up their first league point last weekend against Sheffield Utd (1-1), Fulham are still bottom of the league and one of the four Premier League teams not to record a win after five weeks. The Cottagers could have easily picked up a win against Blades, but will have to wait for their local rivals on Saturday for the next shot at whole three points.
As for Crystal Palace, the Eagles are 14th in the table with seven points from the first five rounds. After two consecutive wins against Southampton at home (1-0) and Manchester United away (1-3) at the start of the new campaign, they followed it with two defeats - to Everton at home (1-2) and away to Chelsea (4-0) - which ended their little winning run and set them back a few steps. Draw at home against Brighton (1-1) after the international break was logical continuation of that form.
MATCH ANALYSIS
Fulham, the last season's play-off winners in the Championship, were exposed in first five matches for all their shortcomings and weaknesses, and if they want to pick up any points this weekend, they will have to raise their game significantly. On two previous occasions Fulham were in the Premier League - in 2013/2014 and 2018/2019 - they didn't last a season and conceded the most goals in the league both times. After their defeat to Wolves on October 4, their vice chairman Tony Khan voiced his opinion and apologized to fans and also promised new signings. Following those promises Fulham signed former Everton winger Ademola Lookman on a season-long loan from RB Leipzig who was a man of the match on Sunday, scoring a solitary goal for Fulham. Fulham were a bit unfortunate as Mitrovic smacked his penalty-kick against the crossbar, which is now their third penalty miss from the last six awarded.
Crystal Palace looked to build on their historical 1-3 win against Manchester United but were stopped in their tracks by Everton, who didn't break too much sweat to take away all three point from London. Thus, they ended their best start to the season ever, before they could have reveled in it for too long. They were even more toothless against Chelsea in their next defeat, mounting it to 9 defeats in their last 12 Premier League matches before the Eagles shared the spoils with Brighton. Palace were on the back foot for long periods, but looked like holding on for victory - having taken a 10th-minute lead courtesy of Zaha's penalty, which turned out to be the home side's only shot on target. They were pegged back by a late equalizer which moved them up a place to 12th.

CONCLUSION
Having clashed only on 5 previous occasions since 2013, Fulham and Palace both have 2 wins to their names, with Eagles winning the two most recent fixtures in season 2018/19. Fulham last won in the league in October 2013.
Crystal Palace received another blow after Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew tested positive on Covid-19 after international duty, so Roy Hodgson urged Zaha to give more and create havoc as they suffered 5 losses by 2+ goals in 7 most recent away matches in all competitions.
There should not be too many chances on both sides off the pitch on Saturday,
So, my prediction is: Under 2.5 goals

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
