Fulham host Leeds at the Craven Cottage (London) in the 28th round of the Premier League and the match kicks off at 8 pm (UK) on Friday, March 19. Read our reasons for Fulham vs Leeds prediction and betting tips.
Scott Parker insists Fulham’s second-half collapse against Manchester City (3-0) will have no impact on the side as they prepare for Friday night’s meeting with Leeds. It is a massive game for the Cottagers and should they beat Leeds at Craven Cottage on Friday night, Newcastle will start their weekend game in the bottom three. As for Leeds, despite sitting in mid-table in the 12th place, Marcelo Bielsa’s men have been fun to watch this season being on a massive eighteen-game Premier League run without a draw (W8, L10) prior to their goalless share of spoils with Chelsea last time out. They are looking to get back on the winning ways here after recording back-to-back defeats against Aston Villa and West Ham and a draw against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.
After losing their first six games at the beginning of the season and conceding 14 goals in the process, many classed the west London outfit as the top-flight whipping boys. But manager Scott Parker has completely turned their fortunes around. The charismatic ex-England international Scott Parker has given the Cottagers a fighting chance of survival heading into the final few games of the season as they currently sit just two points away from safety.
Fulham continued their momentum from last Sunday’s win at Liverpool (1-0) but were punished after a slow start to the second half, despite having conceded just two goals in their previous seven league matches. Having held the champions’ elect Manchester City quite comfortably in the first 45 minutes, Fulham conceded three quick goals in the second-half minutes to slump to defeat at Craven Cottage on Saturday and the Cottagers are already looking forward to putting things right against Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
On the other hand, despite losing top scorer Patrick Bamford to injury, Leeds were typically tenacious against one of the Premier League’s bona fide big-hitters, flying forwards in numbers as they piled pressure on Tuchel’s well-drilled defence. After a run of seven defeats in 12 games, a hard-earned point against one of England’s form sides was a welcome response. While mathematics is not coming into it just yet, Leeds have surely secured their place in the Premier League for another season.
Coming into Friday’s match against Fulham the Whites have won more away games this season than at home. Leeds have enjoyed five PL home wins this season, beating Fulham, Newcastle, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Southampton. However, those victories, coming against four sides currently below them in the Premier League table and one a point above, have been the bedrock of their 12th place and without the supporters, Leeds’ first season back in the top-flight after 16 years could hardly have gone much better.

Fulham meet Leeds having previously lost just one of their last eight home league games against the Whites (W4, D3), but following their 4-3 victory at Elland Road earlier this season, Leeds are looking to complete their first league double over Fulham since the 1984-85 campaign in the second tier.
Victory for Fulham in this match would see them finish outside of the relegation zone for the first time since December 20th. However, Leeds have won all three of their league games against sides in the bottom three this season by an aggregate score of 10-3.
Fulham desperately need a win here and Leeds are looking to end a three-game run without a win, so the BettingKick’s Fulham vs Leeds prediction is: Both teams to score
