FULHAM VS LEICESTER MATCH ANALYSIS
The Cottagers have really turned a corner under Scott Parker lately and are playing far better football than their current league position (18th) suggests. They drew seven of their last ten PL matches (L3), drawing 2-2 last time out at West Brom. They will look to upset the top-four candidates Leicester in midweek as they need to start turning some of those draws into wins. As for the Foxes, they were on a ten-game streak without a defeat in all competitions (W6, D4) and had won five consecutive games in all competitions – three in the Premier League - prior to their 1-3 defeat against Leeds at home on Saturday. They have been leapfrogged by Liverpool in 3rd but are still in top-four ahead of Wednesday’s match.
The hosts demonstrated that they are no pushovers recently, but they are making a habit of being on the rough end of fine margins. While Fulham have tightened things up at the back, they’ll continue to struggle if they don’t create an attacking platform. Seven draws and two defeats by a single goal in their last ten fixtures suggest their battle against the drop will go right down to the wire. Scott Parker's side indeed seem improved, but they still find it hard to win games - which is why they are still in the bottom three.
Against West Brom, Fulham again rued the missed chances. They will probably be wondering what is it they have to do to end a winless run that now stands at 10 Premier League matches. The Cottagers dominated the first period and looked on course for a first top-flight win since 30 November thanks to Bobby Decordova-Reid's early goal. However, with a change of system the Baggies engineer a complete turnaround after the break, but Fulham scrapped a well-deserved point in the end.
Leicester, on the other hand, spoiled their perfect start to 2021, as Rodgers had overseen nine games without a defeat after being in danger of dropping off the pace in the title race with their little slump in November. The Foxes have clearly shown their title credentials and it is their form on the road which has propelled them into title contention this season - they have only tasted victory in four of their last ten top-flight home matches.
Unfortunately for them, their poor home form continued at the weekend, as Bamford inspired Leeds to victory after having a role in all three goals as Leeds fought back to end Leicester's seven-game unbeaten run in the Premier League with a deserved victory at King Power Stadium. With Jamie Vardy absent following a hernia operation, the Foxes' most dangerous attacking outlets have been Barnes and Maddison, who are impressive this season, but it must be admitted that Foxes are struggling and are toothless without Vardy leading the line.

Fulham are without a win in their last five home matches (D2, L3), while Leicester are unbeaten in as many games on the road (W3, D2). Fulham scored just one goal in the process, while Foxes netted eleven. Seven from Fulham and Leicester’s ten games combined ended with both sides scoring, to boot.
Fulham still have an upper hand in their last 20 head-to-heads with ten wins to Leicester’s 6. Four of their last five meetings ended with over 2.5 goals and in three both teams found the net. Having said all that, BettingKick’s Fulham vs Leicester prediction is: Over 2.5 goals
