One of the most intriguing fixtures in the latest round of La Liga action will take place in the Spanish capital on Sunday evening with Getafe welcoming Granada to Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
Los Azulones have been impressive at the home ground at the start of the season, and they will give their best to keep their 100% record on home soil intact. Getafe boss Pepe Bordalas has a full squad to choose from ahead of the visit of Granada. Getafe will be looking to make it back-to-back wins this weekend, and it is a very interesting period of the season for the club considering that their next two after this one are against Valencia and Villarreal. The capital side finished eighth in La Liga last season but were fifth in 2018-19, and the supporters will be hoping that their team can push towards the Champions League positions once again.
The Andalusians did well to beat Sevilla in the local derby at the weekend, but defeating Getafe in Madrid is easier said than done. Considering that Granada are not regarded as good travellers, we predict that they are going to return to Andalusia empty-handed. The likes of Lozano, Quini, and Azeez are all likely to miss the match with injury for the visiting team. In their last meeting at Coliseum Alfonso Perez Getafe defeated Granada 3-1. The matches are coming thick and fast for Granada at the moment as they are back in Europa League action at home to PAOK next week before welcoming Levante in the league at the start of November.
It remains to be seen how Martinez balances the squad over the next few weeks, but the early indications are that Rojiblancos could be in for a very successful campaign.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
