Granada will be looking to continue their impressive start to their 2020-21 La Liga campaign when they welcome struggling Levante to Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Sunday.
Los Granadinos impressed in the 2019/20 La Liga campaign, and they continue with brilliant displays in the new season. Diego Martinez’s troops did well to beat Getafe in the suburbs of Madrid at the weekend, with the team climbing to third place in the standings. El Grana finished seventh in La Liga last term on their return to this level following a two-year absence, and they managed to qualify for the group stages of the Europa League. Diego Martinez's side have picked up four points from their two European matches this season, following a 2-1 win over PSV Eindhoven with a goalless draw against PAOK on Thursday night. Granada have also won their last two in the league, beating Sevilla 1-0 on October 17 before recording an impressive 1-0 victory away to Getafe last weekend. Granada aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, and despite their tough fixture list in the Europa League, a home win should be considered.
Los Levantinos have been struggling in front of goal at the start of the season, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Andalusians. Experienced attacker Roberto Soldado is rated doubtful for the hosts after he was tested positive for coronavirus. The Frogs picked up an impressive three points away to Osasuna at the end of September but have lost three of their last four matches since then, including defeats to Sevilla and Real Madrid. Levante did manage to end their losing run with a point at home to Celta Vigo last weekend, though, and they actually beat Granada 2-1 in the corresponding match between the two sides in 2019-20. The Valencia-based outfit have not operated outside of Spain's top flight since the 2016-17 campaign, but the early indications are that they could be in for a relegation battle this season.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
