Krzysztof Piatek will lead the line for Hertha Berlin on Saturday at home to Borussia Dortmund, for whom Erling Haaland is on fire.
Polish striker scored one and assisted another from the bench as Hertha ended a five-match winless run with victory over Augsburg before the international break. Piatek replaced the injured Jhon Cordoba at half-time at the WWK Arena and is expected to make his third start of the current campaign in the Colombian's absence. Piatek - who has previously boasted double-digit goal hauls for seasons in Poland and Italy - has six in 23 appearances for Hertha so far.
Matheus Cunha also had a hand in two of Hertha's three goals last time out to up his total for the season to six, before continuing to prove his worth on Brazil U23 duty. The 21-year-old, who has outscored Piatek 10 goals to six since the pair moved to the German capital at the turn of the year, registered another goal and assist in a friendly win over South Korea. Head coach Bruno Labbadia will largely have the same set of players at his disposal as he did against Augsburg, with Santiago Ascacibar, Jordan Torunarigha, and Lucas Tousart still on the sidelines. Arsenal-owned Matteo Guendouzi has added a new dimension to the midfield, and will almost certainly be handed his third successive appearance and second straight start. Hertha is unbeaten in two games with the Frenchman on the side.
Hertha's 3-0 win at Augsburg was Labbadia's 100th Bundesliga win as a coach. The only opposite number Lucien Favre, with 151 victories from 303 games, has more among current managers. Both of the wins this season have come away from home. They have only picked up a single point from the Olympiastadion so far.
Hertha: Schwolow - Pekarik, Boyata (c), Alderete, Plattenhardt - Darida, Stark, Guendouzi - Cunha - Lukebakio, Piatek
Out: Cordoba (ankle)
Doubtful: Ascacibar (match fitness), Torunarigha (not included), Tousart (knee)
Coach: Bruno Labbadia
Dortmund won their previous meeting with Hertha 1-0, despite being without Haaland. The 20-year-old Norway international has been stellar since his January move from Red Bull Salzburg, scoring 27 goals in 29 competitive appearances for BVB. He took his Bundesliga record to 19 in 21 games with his strike against leaders Bayern Munich on Matchday 7, but the contest ended in a 3-2 defeat that leaves Lucien Favre's challengers three points adrift of the defending champions in third place. Dortmund has never suffered consecutive league defeats under Favre. Haaland has scored 11 goals in all competitions for Dortmund this season, the Norwegian seeing the net every 79 minutes he has played.
Thomas Delaney was given the nod to partner Axel Witsel in midfield for Der Klassiker, but 2019/20 Bundesliga Goal of the Season winner Emre Can is pushing for a recall following a mandatory period in self-isolation. Seventeen-year-old Jude Bellingham is another option in the middle of the park, fresh off becoming the third-youngest debutant in the history of the England national team. Gio Reyna - who turned 18 on 13 November - also made his bow for USMNT, and should keep the likes of Julian Brandt and Thorgan Hazard on the substitutes bench. Prolific youth-team striker Youssoufa Moukoko celebrates his 16th birthday the day before the game and is eligible to make his Bundesliga debut. Should Moukoko feature, he would replace Dortmund legend Nuri Sahin as the Bundesliga's youngest ever player. Sahin was a month off his 17th birthday when he played against Wolfsburg in August 2005.
Dortmund: Bürki - Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro - Bellingham, Witsel - Sancho, Reus (c), Reyna - Haaland
Out: Schmelzer (knee)
Doubtful: Zagadou (knee)
Coach: Lucien Favre

It could be a very interesting game to watch with two teams that want a ball in transition and open pitch. Dortmund must be the favorite but both teams to score is the most reasonable bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
