Herta will host Frankfurt on Friday night trying to keep up with the good work after the 4-1 win in Bremen.
The team from the German capital kicked-off their new campaign perfectly in against Werder last Saturday, with new signing Jhon Cordoba scoring as a substitute on his debut. The Colombian hit 13 goals in the Bundesliga last season for Cologne. Cordoba is already pushing Krzysztof Piatek for a starting berth at the striker position. Fellow new arrival Lucas Tousart looked good in the center of midfield, Deyovaisio Zeefuik also made his debut off the bench. Santiago Ascacibar and Javairo Dilrosun are the only absentees for the capital club's first home outing of the new Bundesliga term as they look to build on their flying start.

Andre Silva scored his 10th Bundesliga goal in 2020 as Eintracht Frankfurt came from behind to deny promoted Arminia Bielefeld two more points on their return to the German top flight. Bielefeld scored after Fabian Klos flicked on Ortega's long punt for Sergio Cordova, who played the ball into the path of Cebio Soukou. The Bochum-born Benin international made no mistake with his finish into the bottom corner. With an average age of 29 years and two months, Frankfurt was the oldest starting line-up of all 18 Bundesliga clubs on Matchday 1, though that means that experience could be their power in the new season. Striking duo Silva - Bas Dost, will be the key for their success and they connected well on several occasions. Forward Ragnar Ache and left-back Jetro Willems have both returned to training following injuries that kept them out of the season opener. Evan N'Dicka is will wait a little while, having picked up an ankle injury in the warm-up of the new season.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious.
