Andrej Kramaric will be looking to add to his league-leading score of six goals this season when Hoffenheim welcome Jadon Sancho and Borussia Dortmund to the PreZero Arena on Saturday.
Kramaric was on target for a third straight Bundesliga game this term when he opened the scoring away to Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 3, but that was not enough to prevent Hoffenheim first defeat of the campaign. The 2-1 Frankfurt turnaround left Sebastian Hoeneß's side in sixth place, level with Dortmund on six points, but they will still be confident heading into this fixture. Hoffenheim handed Bayern Munich their first defeat in 10 months with a 4-1 thrashing on Matchday 2, while Kramaric memorably hit all four goals in a 4-0 triumph in their last meeting with BVB on the final day of last season. In 2019/20, Hoffenheim beat Dortmund home and away for the first time (2-1 and 4-0). Kramaric could become the first Hoffenheim player to score in six successive Bundesliga matches. He has struck seven times in his previous eight meetings with BVB - more than against any other Bundesliga club.
Captain Benjamin Hübner is struggling with an ankle injury so Kevin Akpoguma is set to keep his place in the three-man backline. Sebastian Rudy could be set for his third debut for Hoffenheim, having rejoined from Schalke. Hoffenheim have scored at least once in their last six Bundesliga matches, dating back to last season - 19 in total.
Hoffenheim: Baumann (c) - Posch, Vogt, Akpoguma - Kaderabek, Rudy, Samassekou, Skov - Baumgartner, Kramaric - Dabbur
Out: Bicakcic (knee), Stafylidis (shoulder)
Doubtful: Hübner (ankle)
Coach: Sebastian Hoeneß
Sancho is in line to return for Dortmund, having missed both the Supercup against Bayern and the Matchday 3 4-0 victory over Freiburg due to illness, but he recovered sufficiently to feature for England during the international break. With captain Marco Reus still working his way back to full fitness, the 20-year-old is expected to start on Saturday, joining the in-form Gio Reyna – who made history with his hat-trick of assists on Matchday 3 against Freiburg behind Erling Haaland. All four of Haaland's Bundesliga goals so far in this season have come on home ground. Reyna has had direct involvement in five of BVB's seven Bundesliga goals after three matches.
Thorgan Hazard remains sidelined through injury so Raphael Guerreiro will provide width on the left, while teenage summer signing Jude Bellingham should retain his place in central midfield alongside Axel Witsel as Lucien Favre’s men seek their third Bundesliga win of 2020/21. Dortmund has restricted the opposition to a league-low 20 shots on their goal so far this term.
Dortmund: Bürki - Piszczek, Hummels (c), Can - Meunier, Bellingham, Witsel, Guerreiro - Reyna - Sancho, Haaland
Out: Akanji (not included), Hazard (muscular), Schmelzer (knee), Schulz (calf), Zagadou (knee)
Doubtful: -
Coach: Lucien Favre

Both teams to score looks like a sure bet because of the playing style of Hoffenheim and Dortmund. Kramaric and Haaland could extend their goalscoring form after they both performed on the high level even on the international break.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
