Israel and Scotland will meet for the third time since September, trying to win the game that could clinch survival for hosts or promotion for the guests.
Israel will try to avoid relegation from League B and they can do that by equaling the Slovakia result in the last round. They met two times with Scotland and in both games, they got draws as a final result. In October, in the most important duel, they had a goalless draw at Hampden Park in the semifinals of the playoffs for the EURO, and Scotland advanced after penalties. A month earlier, at the same place, goalscoring 1-1 draw showed that these sides are very close overall. The situation in this group suggests something else, as Israel gained just five points, and Scotland has five more. Their only 3-2 win was against Slovakia who has fourth points and Israel is certain to avoid relegation if Slovaks don't win against former compatriots from the Czech Republic on matchday 6.
Israel and Celtic defender Hatem Abd Elhamed is suspended after being shown a red card in the 1-0 loss to the Czech Republic. Central defender Orel Dgani is likely to come into the side and replace the 29-year-old. Attacking trio Manor Solomon, Eran Zahavi and Munas Dabbur are likely to keep their places in the starting lineup.
Israel (3-4-3): Marciano; Dgani, Tibi, Yeini; Dasa, Natkho, Golasa, Kandil; Solomon, Zahavi, Dabbur
After their European Championship playoff final qualifier win on penalties over Serbia, Scotland showed a hangover following that triumph in their UEFA Nations League game over the weekend, losing 1-0 to Slovakia in Group B2. Steve Clarke’s side must bounce back here if they don’t want to be dethroned from the top spot by the Czech Republic. Fatigue must be affecting Scotland at this stage having played 210 minutes of football already this international break.
Scotland’s only clean sheet in their last 10 assignments came in their comfortable win against minnows San Marino, while Israel, who have defensive issues of their own, saw both teams score in seven of their last eight fixtures.
Scotland and Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson is to miss the match on Wednesday with a hamstring injury, which could see Arsenal's Kieran Tierney keep his spot at left wing-back or Celtic's Greg Taylor brought into the starting XI. Stephen O'Donnell could also come back into the starting lineup, replacing Liam Palmer at right wing-back. Lyndon Dykes, who missed the loss to Slovakia after serving a one-match suspension, could return for the Scots upfront and replace Oli McBurnie.
Scotland (3-5-2): Marshall; McTominay, McKenna, Gallagher; O'Donnell, McLean, McGinn, McGregor, Tierney; Christie, Dykes

These teams know each other very well and it would be very difficult for them to find some extra motive after recent matches. Fatigue is a real issue for the visiting side who will monitor the result from the other game that could also affect final standings so under 2,5 goals is a reasonable betting option.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
