Juventus have improved under Andrea Pirlo and should be able to continue on that path when they host Ferencvaros in a UEFA Champions League match.
Juventus can book their place in the knockout stages of the UCL if they win against Hungarian champions on Tuesday and Dynamo Kiev don't vs Barcelona. Italian champions have six points so far - three of them from a 4-1 success in the return fixture last time out - when Alvaro Morata scored twice to establish a five-point cushion in second place, behind Catalonian giants who were better in Torino in the second round. It was the Spanish striker who stepped up in the recent absence of main man Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Portuguese superstar scored the last three goals for Juventus in the Seria A. He was their only scorer in a 1-1 draw against Lazio just before the break and in the first match after the break, CR7 was the star of the show, netting both goals as Juventus saw off Cagliari 2-0, while Merih Demiral also hit the crossbar.
Ronaldo took center-stage in his first game at the Allianz Juventus Stadium since the opening round of the season against Sampdoria. First, he cut inside to blast into the far bottom corner with his right foot, then he showed quick improvisational skills to hook in a corner that had been deflected behind him. Federico Bernardeschi and Ragnar Klavan had also found the back of the net, but both were ruled offside due to teammates in the build-up.
Juventus do have a few injury concerns to address and will have to do without Leonardo Bonucci and Aaron Ramsey in this game. Federico Chiesa and Giorgio Chiellini also have issues with their fitness and might not be able to play against Ferencvaros.
Juventus (4-4-2): Wojciech Szczesny; Danilo, Matthijs de Ligt, Merih Demiral, Juan Cuadrado; Weston McKennie, Rodrigo Bentancur, Adrien Rabiot, Paulo Dybala; Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata
Injured: Leonardo Bonucci, Aaron Ramsey
Doubtful: Federico Chiesa, Giorgio Chiellini
Suspended: None
Ferencvaros made a historic achievement entering the group stage of the Champions League and they have been excellent on the domestic front but their only point of the campaign came after a 2-2 home draw vs Dynamo Kiev in a match where they trailed 2-0. There are reasons to believe that these matches are just a good award for their accomplishments in recent years in domestic football but they are certainly a team to watch after Hungary also reached next summer’s EURO.
Ferencvaros conceded five goals in their only Group G away game, going down 5-1 at Camp Nou, drew 2-2 at home to Dynamo thanks to Ivorian forward Franck Boli's 90th-minute leveler - before eventually losing heavily at home to Juve. They are unbeaten in the league this season and losses against giants Barcelona and Juve represent their only defeats in all competitions - their 2020-21 record otherwise is 12 wins, five draws.
National team heroes Siger, Lovrencsics, and Botka are all set to feature, in the next match with Norwegian forward Tokmac Nguen supporting lone striker Franck Boli. Midfielder Marcel Heister will expect a start after his strike as the only goal in the Budapest derby vs Honved but must compete with Brazilian veteran Somalia for his minutes on the pitch.
Ferencvaros (4-2-3-1): Denes Dibusz; Gergo Lovrencsics, Miha Blazic, Lasha Dvali, Endre Botka; Marcel Heister, Ihor Kharatin; David Siger, Isael da Silva Barbosa, Myrto Uzuni; Franck Boli

Juventus is a heavy favorite to win this match but with Ferencvaros relaxed about the final outcome they will try everything to steal some goals and highlights. Both teams to score looks like a value bet here.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
